Flippin’ out!

Just flipped my girl last Thursday. Sad attempt at scrog. Made the squares 4” instead of 2” so using it more of a lattice i guess to control the stretch. Was told to keep it simple so have just been topping more FFOF and man that does work well. I may try nutes next time just to play around but appreciate the input. Just posting to share a pic and see if anyone sees something I don’t that I should jump on. Gonna invest in better lighting and a tent soon as well. Lol. But the flat white walled closet seems to be doing ok for now.

1 . SCROG would have been utilized better if you VEGGED a-bit longer ( you could weave in the growth / spread ) but it is what it is. Looks good.

2. EASYon the feeding- plant getting a bit too much nitrogen. I would halt feed / water as needed only. . Let plant deplete the nute buildup instead hyper loading medium.

Other than that looks ready to groove.

4 inch squares work fine but when vegging you need to weave the shoots an branches thru the net
I use twist ties
The idea with the net is to expand the plant not support the buds
The way you went about it you could have stuck a tomato cage on it
That isn’t a SCROG

Listen to this guy…..he won’t steer you wrong.
I followed the KISS method with Ocean Forest as my base and top dressing w/ more OF and it’s worked out well.
I added EWC and more perlite initially, also used EWC w/ the straight OF for top dressings.
I’m about a week away from chopping the plant and it’s total fire. It’s an auto and I screwed up and stunted as a seedling, so I lost 2-3 weeks of veg time. Therefore the plant is small but once it went into the OF it took off and has shown almost no deficiencies or problems whatsoever.
I’m grateful to have stumbled on the thread about OF and how it can be used most effectively…..it was a game changer for me.
Good luck and if Budzbuddha told me to pour grape kool-aid on my plants I would do it.

Ya reading some of these threads… people act like mad scientists. I’ve read plenty of Budzbudda’s replies previously and he’s the only one who remains consistent. I think i have enough nutes in it now to keep it going anyways.

Ya I have twisties on it but it’s a squatter and never really popped up. I’m still tying down through the first 2 weeks of flower and stretch to expose inner sites. Appreciate the reply
