Your leader just said you were not dogmatic but, that and more I guess.

Here is what you said, "LER estimated at 325lm/W"

Did you bother to say you calculated SPD curves? NO.

Are you shooting straight or just trolling?

No offense meant, mr. degree in physic. I find it pretty amusing :)

You're right that I didn't specifically mention that LER was estimated from the SPD in that data sheet, but since it was my reaction to "spec says" along with other data that obviously had come from the data sheet, I assumed that a guy with a degree in physics would have understood it.

Thought leader says, DIYer are not dogmatic. But, Alsesh, Chruch, Green, Scotch and a couple of others are rabid with it and see you as one of the main thought lenders.

Leaders are not born, they are forced by the pack, and often quite humble and such. You are good at the role and the reluctance is part of the the goodness.

Thanks man the only time I get mean is in response to Sativied, but even we learned from each other. I am amazed that HPS was able to step up its game with the 1000W DE and to learn that LEDs could technically go above 100% efficiency.

I think that what may come across as dogma is an attempt to stop what people view as misinformation from "taking hold" with growers new to LED. It is common to see growers spending big $$ to buy an LED with more heat than HPS, hurting the grower and giving LED a bad name. But a truly good idea will be reproducible, stand up to scrutiny and peer review. Little by little we improve, contributions from many thinkers.

I see dogma as the minding of others business. Dogma is not showing the new thinkers the ropes but lurking to pounce on the thought processes, with indignation.

Dogma is being so concerned with being right, that the thought of someone trying something else, means to them they are being proved wrong.

Dogma take hold of immature minds and turns it into DO GOOD.

This whole thread is based off what I told you. As well as much of the changes you continually make. I saw your half assed recognition of it.
So again, other than putting correct info out, why have I done to troll you.

at this point i can only laugh at how deep you ENJOY digging yourself. I'm better than this, but keep trashing me and I'm gonna keep defending. But I'm not gonna be walked on when I all I did was lay insight,legitimate concern, on the table in front of you. And you're to stubborn and stuck in your thought process to comprehend how ass backwards 25% efficient really is.

I can't wait to put my hands up to that radiator.

The radiator will be outside away from children.

An incandescent bulb is about 25%, I'd guess. And still a very useful object with unique advantages and despite all, is used by the megaton, worldwide.

I'll do what I want, but I don't care about your respect. Get it?
