flavoring your plant

hi i was wondering if misting your plant a few times a day with a solution would in a sense flavor the nugs? i have been doing that with lavender and water. i have heard creating a soil mixture with orange peels, coffee grounds, what ever you want works but i am still wondering about misting. thanks

I Dont Think That Duz Anything, But If U Want Some Flavored Nugs You Should Grow A Good Flavored Strain

I wouldnt mist because it could clog the pores and then it would not breathe in co2 which would result into plant dying. if you do, only mist the under side of the leaves, not the top

Definately don't spray them, if you do it under lights it might burn them through the magified light from the droplets of water, or failing that it could lead to budrot.

If you want to add taste to them you can always try molasses added into the feed water (black treacle) diluted 1tsp into 1lt of hot water, obviously allow it to cool first. It's basically what they use in a lot of bud-growth products

Get catering essence. You know, the small bottles of vanilla, strawberry etc. Add 1 bottle to 1 1/2 liter water for final feed. You will get an extra hint of flavour.

especially 1-2 weeks from harvestin.............

a great way to flavour your smoke is to smoke through a bong! just fill ya bong with anything, orange, vodka, blackcurrent......... the worlds your oyster

This is a great thread, I have a friend who actually had some STRAWBERRY COUGH that was so potent with the Smell and Taste of Strawberry it was intense. When you smelled the bud you could taste the sweetness in it. This was like 6 months ago and the Container still smells like Strawberry jolly Ranchers. Can anyone tell me how they did this? I would love to learn how to make the buds this intense.

it wan't be watering. it'll be orangejuicing

dunno man.imo it's a myth.maybe it'll just add sugar and supports the flowering at the final 2-3 weeks before harvest, but i DON'T recomend to do this, coz i dunno what will happen.better try some flavoured strains.they will smell fruity for sure.Peace!!! Cheetah

i have read a article either on here or another grow site where a gentleman has been experimenting with this exact thing.he is in a ebb and flow hydro system and started by using a quarter cup of oj per gallon in the res.he reported that there was some result.he carried the experiment further and now is adding one cup per gallon and says it truely does add orange flavor and aroma to the buds but he also reported that some strains take it and others seem to not produce well using this method.so the answer is yes you can but be willing to sacrafice some yeild to experiment!!!!


p.s he was adding it for only a two week period just before flush week!!!

couldnt you just use the oj to flush?

you could use flavored papers instead of risking ruining perfectly awesome (and tasty on its own) bud
