First try with Rosin press

I know Low Temp plates are a known and respected name in the rosin press market. I'd considered them when I was in the market for a press but they were out of my price range.

The press looks okay to me, provided it all works.

That's funny the guys at my local smoke shop said same thing about the plates and said it's a great deal if nothing is broke

Yeah, for $500 if the thing works as advertised that's a steal. Especially if he's gonna throw in the pre-press in the pic and such. Just make sure you're getting everything you need, including the pump for the jack.

I easily press 20grams at once on my low temp 3x5 plates using a pre-press. you absolutely need 10 tons or more with a 3x5.

That setup is a killer deal for $500.

With the setup as pictured, you need something to keep the press Ram from heating up. That heat will travel all the way up the ram and heat up the hydraulic fluid causing it to thin and eventually leak all over your plates. I used a small piece of wood at first and then eventually upgraded to the G11 insulation from low temp plates.

The plates are pretty indestructable...I'd make sure to check the press out carefully and make sure no oil is leaking out of the cylinder.

Cookies & Cream Live Resin

Got a dulytech 7 I'm over. Stuck on pressed into bars hash. Made crazy rosin, dabs as well as diamonds and terps. Too much sticky stuff.

135F for 35 seconds in a mold. Won't melt in your hand or pocket. Burns forever and smooth strong high. LOL. Enjoy the pressing people. I wish I saved the $600.
