hello newbie here..around April i picked up a Urkel clone and just put that sucker in some soil and waterd it out side and its ready to chop..it grew 2feet tall and bushy as heck.. so now im trying my first time cloning..i picked up some rooting gel and a small dome.. and give some CFL lights.. on a 18/6 timer ... well some guy at a hydro store said put it on 24hr light and the roots will come quicker.... my Question is once a root system has grew ..can i put it back on 18/6 veg?? and will that affect the plant??
.BTW im cloning TrainWreck
i posted here before and have gotin good response :joint:

Yeah you can do that no problem, you can also leave it on 24hrs for veg. The plant will start to flower at anything less than 15 hrs of light.

I would use as much light as you can, and also I think mylar would be best. I painted my walls with flat white and I think that reflects about 85% of the light. For my new grow room extensions I am going to use reflective roofing paint, it is like 98% reflective! :) But make sure you have good ventalation on that room to keep your temps down, I run 7 100w cfl's in my veg box and they do put off heat, not nearly as much as a HID but it does get a little hot in there.
