1. Getting the tent made/bought.
2. Getting a proper fan to exhaust the light.
3. Getting proper odor control.
4. Setting up an ebb/flow system in the tent.
I like your list...

And just so you know... SpruceZeus has been kicking ass on RIU since before I even got started...

Yeah man I will drop by! I am not sure they have a def though. I am giving them more than the suggested amount....I have slowly increased...actually after my last watering and increasing the bloom nutes slightly they showed a slight bit of nute burn. So I think it's just some normal stem discoloring. But I am not sure...

You should... you will, like everyone else, be amazed at the results and wish you had done it long ago...

It's easy and very controlled... a bit more complex, yeah, but there is no guess work...

If you can follow a recipe and bake a cake you can do hydro...

The biggest downfall I see is people trying to bake their first cake using 4 different recipes at once... it rarely works...

Stick to one recipe...

After you are comfortable that you can bake the "standard" cake, you can experiment to see if you can improve upon the recipe... but not till you have a "few cakes under your belt"... lol...

As usual, all this nonsense is just my opinion, in the end.. always go with what you know... after all, it is your world...

Cheers... :joint::peace:

Am now running a 6" carbon filter with a 6" 340 CFM inline fan.

It has completely eliminated the smell after 45 minutes of running. Before when I came up the stairs I could smell it. Now, I can stand right outside the door and smell nothing!

Paid about $275 for both items. Very satisfied to this point!

Thanks SZ I agree to the max!

God I would give my left arm for the trich production you have.

What nutes/soil are you using for the dirtbagger crop?

Are some of those new pics of plants in soil?

Cheers friend.

Awww shucks... i'll take that as a compliment.
Healthy plants, good genetics and cool temperatures are my not so secrets.

What nutes/soil are you using for the dirtbagger crop?
I'm using Sunshine Mix #4 soiland Holland Secret 3 part Nutes. (hydro nutes, they work just fine for soilless mixes) I used to use Promix HP for soil, but found it was always throwing my PH out of whack. I'm pretty convinced the brand of nutes you use is not a big deal. I use the cheapest 3 part nutrients i could find and my first couple grows were just with Miracle-gro and I'd say they went pretty well for a newbie.

Fancy soils and nutes and additives and boosters and vitamins are all fine and good. But at the end of the day, simpler is almost always better.
Balanced feeding, good light and cool temperatures will get you ten times farther than all the bud boom and bloom boom and bud bloom and bud blood in the world.

Are some of those new pics of plants in soil?
The first 10 and last 2 pics in my most recent post are all soil plants.

What strains (if you know) do you have going right now?

Good luck and happy growing

Yeah I keep my temps at 76f max daytime and about 62f night. My plants are healthy. I am not sure how good the genetics are really.

Well it's called Barbwire. You familiar with WinkDogg and his thread?

I didnt get the seeds from a seed bank. I think it is a hybrid, perhaps a bit of a sativa flair but I cant be sure.

My next grow I am going with WW, BB, and Violaor Kush. 5 per plant in a tent, vented hoods and an AC cooled room with a standing 6" carbon filter. Time to get serious.

Gypsy thanks for posting those here man I am honored!

They are absolutely gorgeous! What strain exactly are they, do you know?

For six weeks that trich development is amazing. I don't have half and I am at 7 weeks in a few days. Are you running 4k in lights? Or are there a couple 600's in there?

Your setup looks great. The scrog really seems to be the way to go. I can only dream of the day for now.

What kind of yield are you expecting? I am gonna guess somewhere in the neighborhood of a lb and a half. What do you think?

I am glad you're seemingly...half, back? Well either way they are nice brother! And I am excited to see the whole setup like you posted. How long you think they are gonna take? 11 weeks or so? More for the sativa I assume... Well keep it up man!

Shiiit....

I wish I knew, cause they are good genetics, but I really don't know...

There are 2 Indica and 2 Sativa strains.. all kick ass... in my opinion...

4x 600's

Scrog = Screen of Green, I have no screen nor do I veg for a year...

I do SOG = Sea of Green, which is a lot of little plants...

2 very different, but often mistaken methods...

Kinda opposite from each other really...

You could do it with a couple of buckets and harvest 1 lollipop every 2 weeks.. or as many as you care to dedicate the space to...

SOG is easy and VERY PRODUCTIVE...

What kind of yield are you expecting? I am gonna guess somewhere in the neighborhood of a lb and a half. What do you think?
My smallest lollipops are around 14g...

The biggest so far come in @ 32g...

So if you go by the lowest... and you know there are 48 under a light...

That's 576g per light @ 0.96 gram/watt

If we split the difference... say 23g per lollipop (I'd say that's fair, don't you think?)...

We would then see 1,104g @ 1.84 g/w

Per light...

But I fuck up all the time... kill shit... don't have enough clones to supply the cycle..

Stoner shit like that...

But let's just say that I am pretty happy with the recipe I choose to follow...

I am glad you're seemingly...half, back?
It's Summer time...

I am a little better...

Just rather spend more time outdoors... that's all...

Thanks!

Well either way they are nice brother! And I am excited to see the whole setup like you posted.
I get scared of my own shadow every time I post pics.. so .. yeah... they won't be up for too long...lol...

How long you think they are gonna take? 11 weeks or so?
The Indicas seem to turn milky at 6 to 7 weeks, 8 to 9 for full amber knockout...

More for the sativa I assume... Well keep it up man!
The Sativas can keep going forever... You will have buds dead and rotted at the same time there is still new buds starting to grow... they are ridiculous...

I usually stop it as late as I can, but usually 1/3 of the plant is still imature, regardless of how long it's been cooking...lol...

Glad you enjoyed it...

Thanks for the comments...

Two grows for the price of one.

Nice buds gypsy.

How big a tent are you gonna get there jess? And you'll have the 1kw light in there, correct?

You and I are both looking towards next grow... i bet you wish like me we could feed them the secret nutrient to make them finish next week.
