First time with autoflowers and they seem to suck generally

I have , and still do transplant autos. Key is to transplant before roots hit the bottom of starter pot... That's my experience. Most times you only have 25-35 days before they flower and once they flower, roots slow their growth. Small roots, small plant. Don't get me wrong, you can get a large plant from a small pot but generally the size of root mass equals the plant size.

I am a treasonous traitor. I have abandoned the autoflower tenet and threw a few photos in another tent for a 12/12 from seed run over summer. At day 15 now. Show me mercy oh great purveyor or autoflowers.

I do however still have the amnesia auto going.
 
I sucked at autos when I first started; one plant had one tiny little bud, barely big enough to fill a pipe bowl. I love phenos but I've also gotten pretty darn good at growing autos.
 
I grow both, indoor and out. Autos inside are better than outdoor, denser flowers. Same with photos… due to lights and environment. Although I’ve grown monster photos outside, but they were clone mothers and were fairly large when put out.
