OK. Have a few questions. How long should i wait to start flowering after topping a plant? Also I have a plant thats getting droopy, Ph is 6.2 right now, temp is 71. None of my other plants have any problems so I really dont know whats up with it. I have enclosed a few pics of my plants just cause. Theyve grown 1-2 inches in the past 48 hours. i need to start flowering soon since i dont have as much room as I thought. I have about 4 feet of clearance for my plants. They measure from 9-12 inches except one which is about 15 Inches since i topped it. Please let me know what you guys think I should do. Thanks

They are looking good man. You can switch them as soon as you want. I've topped immediately before switching, and I know alot of guys do. It shouldn't hurt anything, esspecially since it will spend the next week or 2 actually changing over. If they are all about 12 inchs, you can figure on them atleast doubleing in size, sometimes they will triple. Are you planning on flowering with the floro lights?

I'm mearly thinking get as much light as you possibly can on them man.

If you check out my journal in my sig line, in the first couple pages I show the layout of the CFL light I use to veg all my plants. Its been working great, and is really cheap to build, it can be a great way to get alot of lumens in a small spot. Just a thuoght for the future, I started out using floro tubes, but was never happy with how they performed in veg(which they are better at) or flowering.

Thanks man. I will add more light and make sure that my cfl's are under the main canopy to allow the bottoms of my ladies to get light. Im looking into purchasing 2 600 watt hps lights for my next grow. Maybe 3 cause i plan on doing at least 30 plants next time. I have a 8'w x 10'L x 8'H grow tent im in the process of building for it.

Ah wonderfull, once you get your 600s your gonna be very happy. I've wanted to swap out my 1k for 2 600s for awhile, maybe one hps one MH and put them on a light mover. I got really nice buds flowered under a MH one time, so I want to try it again. I suppose the other option is keeping my 1k and getting another 1k hehehe.

So im going to start flowering tonite. Plants are getting big in the past couple days and im starting to worry about having enough room. I was told my Super Silver Haze usually grows 3 times its size. So Its time i think. I will keep all updated.

I was gonna start flowering tonight, but i ran into a snag. The nutes i have is only enough for 50 gallons of water for my DWC. I need to make at least 60 gallons. I have one bottle of nutes thats for blooming 3-2-6 for NPK, and i have another thats 3-1-5 for NPK. Do you guys think it would be ok to mix these. Im broke for at least a week. Just bout a firing system for work that cost 10k so im strapped.

What strength will it mix that 50 gallons at. When I start them flowering my girls go through a big change in life, and I always start with a lower then recommended ratio. If that 50 gallons is mixed normal strength, just add 10 gallons of ph'd water and run it. Personally I'd be more inclined to do that then mix different brands of nutes.

Im going with your idea thundercat. Probably for the best. The brand of nutes is the same. The ratio is 1 quart to 50 gallons. So 1:200 i believe. Finally starting flowering. Thats sounds beautiful. :-P Im already getting anxious about my next grow. Wish i could start seeding now but im moving march 11, and i dont want to have to transport anything in this cold ass weather.

Makes sense man, moving is such a bitch especially if you have plants to move. The last time I moved, I had 40+ clones to deal with and keep alive, it was nerve wrecking.

Well got my water changed and added 4 more cfl lights tonite. Changed my timer to 12/12. I now have 7 cfl lights and 4- 4' T-12 lights. My lumen meter is broken so i cant measure my lights. Do you guys think thats enough lights for 11 plants?

Ok. So i just went into my grow room and saw one of my plants bent over completely and droopy. Almost completely fallen over. My rockwool was dry, but only on this one plant. Turned on the pumps manually and its already proping back up. My question is, will this put a lot of stress on that plant. All my others were moist, I think the feeding tube was too low in the net pot and it wasnt getting absorbed by the rockwool. So what do you guys think. Just went to flowering and i dont want this to fuck shit up.

I doubt it will fuck shit up man. Get it stacked up so its supported, and make sure this isn't a frequent occurance. These plants are surprisingly tough most of the time. It should recover, and be just fine if you fixed the problem.
