first time growing. hows it look?

first time growing. started in the middle of january and now they have about 1/2" buds and some hairs. how are they looking and around how much longer until they should be ready for harvest? i have them down to 12 hours light with a timer and watering them about 2-3 times per week with 6.2-6.5 PH adjusted water.

i cant unless i cut the shelf which im not sure if i would be able to cuz we are renting the house. what kind of light should i get that is kind of cheap because im tight on cash right now. i was trying to keep the plants kind of short due to not much room to grow. do you think that they would be able to fully mature that way? they dont seem to be doing too bad.
 
go to lowes and get a three bulb fixture and the dual bulb screwins and get 6 cfl lights they are energy savers and dont run your bill up and all that should cost maybe 50$
 
alright ill go look at lowes tomoro. thanks for the tips. i have a spray bottle and mist them about every other day. how much longer do you think they will take with that new light set up? and what does LST mean? sorry im pretty new to growin.
 
First of all you should not be misting the plants they will burn where the water is sitting, also LST is low stress training you can train the plant to grow how you want it to like low profile like evergreen bushes. Go to these links and check out how to LST..

damn i wish i would have known about LST back when i started growing these. do you think it would be too late to start LST with this batch of plants?
 
goto wall mart in the camping section and get a couple of emergency blankets...they are mylar like a mirror.they are 3 buks each...and cover all that brown and the bottom so atleast the plant might get more light. and for 10 buks each they got 24 in 2 bulb t8 fixtuer with bulbs you need lots more light

dont expect any bud of your plants lol sorry but its true, having only 1 florescent bulb is not even close to enough light for budding.. dont try LST there under enough stress as it is. and dont mist them when there budding you want it dry,,, Im not sure what lights you should get.. what chucktownskunk said sounds ok im not sure what CFL bulbs are though,, but yea I would get a couple more florescent fixtures and some warm white bulbs for budding but even thats not enough to get good bud.. for veg get cool white and worm white,, if your gonna keep your plants growing under the same lights there hole life, get three fixtures 2 bulbs per fixture then get 3 worm white also called soft white and three cool white..4 footers thats gonna be like 60$-80$ bucks..I hope you understood all this .
 
i have 2 of those florescents under there right now. its hard to see the other one cuz its directly behind that one. they are grow lights from walmart. if i get 2 more of those, cut the bottom shelf out to give them about 2 more feet to grow, and cover everything in mirror like material do you think that they would be able to grow some decent buds then? the one plant has about 15 or 16 little ones started on it and the other one has about 10. and a third one has a few. the 4th one doesnt have any growing on it. i started with nine but the others were males.
