Hello all,

Just for you TigerChan! Just yanking your chain, haven't had an update in about a week. Last feeding was just pH balanced RO water this was the second time that we have given them just water, and we haven't decided if we are going to give them any nutrients next go around. We just watered the clones today they weren't as thirsty as the bigger ones. Everything is looking good we are almost at the half way point of flower, and i'm hoping that everything will double in size, and will come out with a smooth flavor.

Hope you enjoy,

they look super healthy. why are you only feeding 1/4th? do you have a ppm meter? theyre only about 40 bucks and they help a ton. advanced nutrients and other companys have basic ppm shedules on their websites. they seem super healthy, im sure they can take more nutrients for sure. i dose mine every watering. and once every two weeks i do just water for a few days. maybe try bumping up the doseage every other watering and water every other day. they look amazing tho

The only reason we are keeping it so low is just because of the time released nutrients we have used. It was starting to become a problem when we bumped up the dosage, and still is something we are fighting with. Another part of the reason we haven't bumped it up was due to not having a ppm meter I didn't want to overdue it. I'm really happy with how the clones look they are taking to the nutrients we've given them really well and are getting bigger and bigger everyday. Thanks for the feedback haven't got much and it is nice to read different things.

Hello All,

My bad Tiger! Again, you are keeping me in check with updates I like it. Sorry i've been MIA school started, and i'm working so it's hard to be on all the time. Unfortunately I only have a couple shots with lights on, but I do have a couple shots of the clones as well they were looking good. Had a little over fert with one or two, but we ran a little extra water through them and they bounced right back. Lilroach glad to have you on my journal man. I've check out a couple of your threads, it's nice to have you. We watered them pH of 6 water and they soaked it right on up.

Thanks! Lol don't be jealous you have some of your own ;) pop those bad bitches in. If you have sativa dominant get ready for many long arms. Each one of mine produced a lot of clones, and even up into flower I had to prune some off to let the main branches get all the nutrients. I'm just hoping the smoke turns out good making me nervous.

Hello All,

Thought i'd stop in for another quick update. Between full units and school and this part time job i've found my extra curricular time cut pretty slim. However, I was able to get into the garden yesterday and get some good bud shots as well as some good pictures of the clones. Went down to the local hydro store yesterday...felt like I was dealing with dumb and dumber. Went in for a microscope which I was able to find, but the stoners down there were trying to sell me on some new root enhancer from a holland company. Was like 60 bucks for a 750ml bottle haha. It's crazy to think people just go in and buy shit like that thinking it will work wonders. Moreover, I got a look at the trichs and some are beginning to get the beginning stages of being milky but they are mostly still clear with maybe less than one or two percent amber. In 4 days I will have hit the seventh week of flower, and on the seed site where I purchased my widow it gave them eight weeks to flower, so I would say things are going right along schedule I might keep them in there for an extra week just because I want to hit them with one more round of a bloom fertalizier with an N-P-K of 1.2-6.6-5.5 as well as some more Snow Storm at a 0-0-3 N-P-K. After that I think they will be more than ready, and after a water diet; they should be ready to harvest. Words can't explain how excited i'm getting. As a first time grown i'm setting my hopes low so I don't get bummed, but I would be more than thrilled to pull a couple pounds if not more from this garden. On top of that i'll have 20 beautiful looking young ladies that are going to come right in. My plans are to do 2 3'x3' scrog screens with 9 of the clones under each. The last two plants i'm just going to grow free and see how my grams/ounce per plant turns out for future grows. In regards to the pictures I took I was able to get a couple random bud shots from a couple different plants. The big monster guys was actually the slowest growing one after my girlfriend severed the tap root while transplanting. Shockingly in the long haul he came all the way back, and actually has the fattest nice proportioned colas. Along with those are some pictures of the clones. Had one beasty bitch with a fan leave bigger than my palm. I'm really excited to get them into the flower room and go around with the scrog screen. Anyways, without further a due...

wow thats looking real nice. those clones are going to get huuuuge as they bud
Yeah i'm hoping so, I was thinking about running them under a scrog screen. With this being my first grow I was wanting to yield more obviously on my second go around, and see that more than likely happening.

they might out grow your space, guna be huge by the time your budding ones are done, and once the clones are done theyl be about double from what they are when you start flowering, in my outdoor right now they started to show hairs at 3 feet and now theyre up to 6 feet tall

Fucking nice! I'm hoping they do, I'm going to scrog them for sure. Already have two 3'x3' screens for them to go under.

Yeah I was looking at one down at the hydro store the other day; that and a ppm meter for next grow are a must. On top of that I was wanting to purchase a self-ballasted UVB bulb for spectrum and really for flower. I'm thinking a 100 watt or two would cover my 10x7 area, what do you think? By the way nice grow. How is LED working for you. I want to invest back after my harvest and LED just seems so much better on electricity which is what is killing me right now. I want to move out of my current living situation, and was looking to maybe changing my light set up if I have the funds.

I am loving my LED light. They are a serious investment.. but I think a worth while one in the long run. My plants look like they are loving it - the real test will begin once buds start to show up. I am excited to see myself. Had this light stored away for a 1-2 years and am just now finally putting it to use.

I would say look at it this way - with LED lights, you spare yourself a lot of extra heat and can place the lights pretty much an inch away from the tops of the plants if you wanted. Less heat alone will save you power in A/C you might have had to use, not to mention creating a more ideal environment. The money you save on your electric bill in a couple grows will probably balance out the extra money you paid for the light - and from then on you will be saving cash each month. I have seen a lot of LED grows and I have seen MANY with terrific harvests - quality and yield. You just have to make sure you get a quality light. As with anything, I would still say do plenty of your own research and draw your own conclusions - But to anyone that asks me about LED lights, I recommend them.

That's good to know man, every one i've been talking to just says the same exact thing about the electricity, and if that is so; than they will pay for themselves. Nothing better than free gardening, or money to save for investing. I'm definently going to have to do some research for my next purchase. I'm starting to see LED grows that show fantastic results; they are all over the thread. With that supporting it, it seems like the dumb thing to do would to be growing without an LED. My really close friend got one. He's doing a LED/HYDRO/SCRoG grow i'm excited to see how it comes out. Thanks for stopping by and spreading the information man. Hope you enjoy the rest of the grown

Hello all,

Being week 7 out of 8 there is only one more week left before I pull if I were to follow the flower time which was stated by the seed site were I bought them. I'm probably going to go 1 to 2 weeks past that date max. I've got a microscope and i'm looking at the trichomes, as well as looking at the over all amber and smell of the plant. As of now they trichomes are still mostly clear and a little cloudy, so I think I will be fine taking my time with them.
