The droop pic was the first few hours after I took them, they’re still perky 48 hours later so I’d say luck is on my side so far this time “man”Man you don’t have any luck do you.![]()

Did you soak your rockwool in 5.5ph water?Okay so no luck with the rock wool, tossed it and built a bubbler, looking good so far but this is first time trying this and cloning in general for that, here’s a before and after 24 hours, anyone got bubbler experience and can give estimate on rooting times? Will new growth be an indication? Don’t want to be messing with them a lot, thanks for the help![]()
I think the ph soak is a myth I soak mine in tap at 7.2. Also bubble clone with tap. No issues.Did you soak your rockwool in 5.5ph water?
A cutting should never wilt.
Def not a myth. Rockwool should be buffered at 5.5. Not saying you'd never get roots with any other ph just that rockwool is supposed to be fed at a lower ph for uptake. Each medium has its own parameters for ideal conditions. 5.5 is just ideal for Rockwool. So your cloning time and success rates would improve if running within those parameters.I think the ph soak is a myth I soak mine in tap at 7.2. Also bubble clone with tap. No issues.
Not a myth, this is bad adviceI think the ph soak is a myth I soak mine in tap at 7.2. Also bubble clone with tap. No issues.
My tap water is 620 ppm out of the fawcett. I don't even drink it. RO water is it for me. Starting with a clean slate is the only option for me. There are some places in the country that are perfect, but not here. LolNot a myth, this is bad advice
I use ro, ph 5.5 always. My tap water is 620 ppm out of the fawcett. I don't even drink it. RO water is it for me. Starting with a clean slate is the only option for me. There are some places in the country that are perfect, but not here. Lol
Sure when feeding u need to pH,cloning theres no need.Ive proven it several times on here.Maybe my tap water is just right?I use ro, ph 5.5 always.
When i feed, i follow my swing and pH accordingly. If a 5.5 silution swings 5.0 in the tank. Ill pH at 6.2 t9 allow it to swing in the media. Between feedings
Healthy moms for the winSure when feeding u need to pH,cloning theres no need.Ive proven it several times on here.Maybe my tap water is just right?
A healthy mom will provide everything a clone needs to root.
just using tap water is fine... but what saying 7.2 is fine suggest is setting your pH to 7.21 would be fine...where it works i wouldnt tell some one optimal is whatever or 7.2.Tap water 0.0ec ph 7.2

I find 4x T5s is a bit much i get better results with them covered or using a pair of T5s to light my clone tent.
Agreed, i wouldn't recommend a ph of 7.2 that's only the ph of my tap water.just using tap water is fine... but what saying 7.2 is fine suggest is setting your pH to 7.21 would be fine...where it works i wouldnt tell some one optimal is whatever or 7.2.
id say ive done it at 7.2, if i phed my blocks to 7.2 im sure they wouldnt respond well, but would probably root
