High gloss for reflective surfaces is nowhere near as a matte White paint! According to some stuff I've read matte White has a better reflectivity than stuff like Mylar (just what I've read)

Anyways those biatches are looking pretty fine mate good job!
Thx for the info :) ill check into it.. repp

Hi guys, i took a couple pics of my buds they are growing a little bit more now. They were stunned for awhile because of the nute problem i had. I Still think the pot is to small for the plant so i am not sure what to do.

If the plant has outgrown the pot, sense it is budding now would this inhibit the buds to grow?

If so would it be better to try and risk a trans plant sense the buds wont fill in to much any ways?

Not sure :D. Any help would be awesome. Here are some pics.

It seems like for being 4 weeks into flower the buds should look more developed. At least its not dead :DDD.. It is looking better, so thats a plus.. lemme know what u think

Subbed to this, very interested to see how it goes! Looking great so far, and glad she recovered! It's a sativa (judging by what people have said) so i wouldn't be too worried, they take a little longer to flower. I'm under one 250w bulb, so will be interesting to see which is better, several or one powerful one!

how big are the pots at the moment?
Edit: ignore that lol I just read the post again... My bad.

I personally wouldn't risk a transplant as they usually take a few days to a week to recover from repotting. Just make sure they have good drainage! As far as how much it will effect the buds, it's going to be a bit tricky but keep em fed and watered as you are and the difference should be minimal... Like i said I've flowered in smaller and got not much less than the bigger pot it just took a lot of care and attention to keep her happy.

Generally all the stressful stuff should be done in veg and given a while to recover as even small amounts of stress in flower can reduce yield and plant health.

and buds start filling out massively in the last 3 weeks, so yours look about right for a sativa!

Sweet.. Thank you soo much. i really do not want to stress her anymore. i will leave her in the current pot. ill just make sure to keep her fed. Drainage should be great. i have 1" to 2" of rocks in the bottom of the pot, its working well. Thx soo much for the info +++rep

Definately transplant.
Don't listen to people telling you it will stunt growth.
It needs to root space above all.

The whole "transplant stunt growth" thing is more for commercial growers.
If you have 100 plants, that are all supposed to give you 5lbs each, and you transplant them when they don't need it, you could lose several grams per plant, which could add up to several ounces with that many plants.

But for one plant, you'll probably only lose like a couple bowls.
And the extra root space could easily grow it back and then some.

Just transplant her into some nice dirt.

Oh and my plant is 24" tall from dirt, and sitting in a 4g container.
I'm planning on giving her 5 gallons or more in a few weeks.
She should have like 6-7 weeks left before I pull her.
I want to make sure she has the root space to explode.

Just be gentle.
Don't abuse her roots.

Transplant shock is from when people clumsily transplant their babies.
You should notice the growth stunt in a few days.

Just got done transplanting her. She was sooo root bound its not even funny. No soil dropped off or even moved when i took her out. She had to of been hating it in that pot.. Was able to fit here nicely into a 5 gallon bucket. She will love me for it i hope.. Here are some pics.

IMG_1142.jpgIMG_1140.jpgIMG_1143.jpgIMG_1141.jpg

Well see how she turns out. I guess ill give her about a week to start growing again. Even transplanting this late i have a feeling i will get more bud off her. She had no where to grow in the old pot witch i found out was only 1 gallon -_-.

Wish her luck :D

Thx for the feedback guys, it means alot :).. i made a video showing my crappy grow setup, search antibot420 on youtube if u want to see it. Ill keep updating pics and vids. the seeds are just some random bag seeds, each plant is form a different sack. Cant wait to improve my setup as time goes on. -Growing MJ for Life :D
im in the same boat dude, looks good

Glad to hear she got new space.
Just leave her in that until harvest.
In about two or three days you should see her explode.
Watch new buds especially.

I don't understand how people can grow a plant in a 16oz cup.
It just doesn't make sense to me.

Yo CerealGraham, I don't know why you can't send private messges, but if it was personal choice I'd advise you to enable them.
If you ever need help with anything just let me know, If I don't know the answer I can at least point you in the right direction.
Welcome to RIU!

Thanks for the re-potting advice. If u had not said anything, she still would be in that little pot. She is already loving the space I bet.

Hey hey, hope the transplant goes well! I was wondering about the soil you're using? In the pics you posted 6-26, it looks a bit compact, but that's hard to judge from an eensy pic

Its soil i got out of my backyard :D. Its actually good soil real dark and full of nutes. When it gets wet it looks compact but its mostly sand no clay. So far the plats seem to be loving it till it runs out of nutes.

Within the next couple weeks i am going to be redoing my setup. My mom is wanting me to build a grow room for her, going to be growing vegetables. The room is about 20' x 15', so i will have a nice size setup to take care of daily. I will have a lot of extra supplies for my grow room now. Going to be awesome bongsmilie
