Greetings from the DarkSide,
Been a wee while since I've visited, but we've been busy AF, darlings..
And in a good good way.
The Alien OG Kush plants have been maturing very beautifully after my last post. However, holding out the chop until after the DarkKing returns from the desert proved pushing big tin.
He has been delayed and without any fanfare, the plants are maturing quickly.
The leaves started yellowing very suddenly and white frankly, right on time for plants that lagged behind in early/mid growth stage.
So quick flush and it was HELL sad chopping off that main centre cola off the first plant.
Smoke a bit, celebrate life and play some Hendrix when you do. It helps.
Give thanks! Geez, she's grown a mile for ya..
So it's been chaos. Everyone in the household is trimming. Mama arrives tomorrow for a few days and little does she know what awaits her.
We're doing an aggressive trim, wet manicuring and hang-drying.
Lucky to have the small veg room in the grow area that could be rendered completely dark - nice incoming fan, little plug-in air heater too (sent by the gods, these little inventions).
We are maintaining about 19 degrees Celsius and 56% humidity for a slow languish dry, given about 5-9 days.
Keeping an eye on them.
Then into the jars with some Boveda Humidity Control sachets.
Pipecleaners are your friends!! Keep them at hand for hanging hooks. Super efficient and bendy.
Okay. So have to show and mention the Air Dome system again. The root structure speaks for itself. It's a nest fest!!
Highly, highly recommended.

The table display is the yield from one plant.
We are excited and content and very, very surprised. Given.
Our next crop? Forty seeds are on their way poste haste.
New girls, new grow.
