Ya I saw your outdoor Ladies..they look great. I was actually wondering what your indoor pk did. I am flipping them tomorrow at 18", just wondering what I can expect out of the stretch.

They STRETCH! ;)
I have read that they reach 2-3 feet indoors. I am figuring they will double in height which will be fine. If they grow more that another 2 feet, I may run into issues with the lights. I didn't figure on having to keep them 18 inches below the lights with the aircooled reflectors, but we will see.
Oh, by the way TLD, I can't believe how fast you can trim..lol I was reading back in your journal today. You are a trimming machine.:o

10-31 -
I switched the bulbs to HPS. I stressed for a second when the bulbs didn't come on right away, then realized I hadn't switched the ballasts to hps..:dunce:

I set the timer for 8 am-8 pm lights out. I did a final check to make sure there weren't any light leaks anywhere. I had to put some tape over the red light on the heater and the temp/hum sensor. Total black for 5 minutes, I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. So they should be good.
I watered with 5.8 ph r/o water with nutes - 650 ppms. When I check the run off it was 6.7 ph..so I may drop the ph back down a little next feed. I watered today with 20% run off.
I trimmed the bottoms again and did some fan tucking and a little gentle re-directing of the shoots.
So off we go to flowering which should put me into the beginning of Jan for harvest. :weed:

off you go...... going to have one more trim session?
Ya, there were several side shoots that I wanted to see how they stretch into the screen that may come off and the canopy is pretty thick so there will definatly be one more trim in a week or so. I really want to see how the edges fill in.
How late would you trim into flower?

no farther than 3 weeks..... try get a good set about a week in, and a few more here and there a little less than a week later..... that would be to lollipop your scrog for optimum top yields, the idea being to also increase yields by allowing 3-5 branches down around the base of each main cola to develop as well, as they will add a few more nodes during the initial stretch during the first two weeks of flower, and stretch that little bit more during the 3rd week, (with some strains, the lollipop trimming stunts flowering stretch :D ) the light will be penetrating between the main colas to the lower bud sites you leave un trimmed allowing for optimum use of your light energy....... I hope that makes sense......

oh yeah.... and around the edges of your SCROG..... if you moved your mylar closer it would get that much more Dense light, and if you added some supplemental side lighting, it would get even that much more usable light....... HPS comes in 100W varieties...... I have been looking into the different bulbs and mini ballasts that are available, just haven't quite found what I am looking for yet.....

Thanks and yes it makes sense. lol I was thinking about making some milar panels that I could but on the sides of the trays. Something I could move out of the way when I need to, but I haven't figured out exaclty how to do it yet and I am worried about limiting the circulation to the plants.

So the girls got their first feed since flipping the switch. I increased the nutes per the "budxl scheme for success" chart that I am following. The PPM is still under 700. I dropped the ph down a bit due to the 6.8 ph reading on the run off. The res after nutes and ph adjusting was 5.4 before watering. I also added the House and Garden Multi-Enzime to the mix today.

Just an FYI to anyone using H&G or interested in using it. I e-mailed House and Garden last night explaining how I wanted to try out their cocos product. I got a reply this morning inviting me to go to the local hydro store and pick up some samples. So, I did. Since the store already knows me, she asked what I didn't already have. lol So she gave me a 1l of multi zyme, Top Booster, and some shooting powder. Over $100 worth of shit. I love free stuff!;-)

The canopy is almost all above the screen now with the exception of a few scragglers that may end up comming of if they don't catch-up. The tops are all with-in a couple of inches of eachother in height, 4-6" above the screen(except for the edges of the screen). I would have liked to spread them out a little more, but they shot up too high to bend back under the screen, so most are where they will stay.

Here are a few pics.
