Those are some nice green leaves and really tight bushes. Way to go!

I would love to hear what others think of how they're doing. There is always opportunity to learn.

Your setup looks cool man. Re yellowing leaves, yes overwatering can indirectly cause it. When you over water you are rinsing nutes out the soil, also your plants root cant breath, then they struggle with nute uptake and then you start seeing nitro deficiency. So it can cause it in a roundabout way. It could also be your temps, in cold temps the plant will struggle to uptake nutes so again yellowing leaves. Here is the important bit... I think your plants look fine. Just maybe lay off the watering a bit, feel the weight of your pot, and then feel it again in 2 days. Only water if it feels light. One other thing, if you have more lights and are thinking of adding them, do it. There is no such thing as too much light. There is only too much heat, so as long as they don't cause your box to heat over 90 I would use them. Good luck.

So when should I tie down again and should i leave the first tie down attached or undo it and tie down the other side? Anyone have any LST advice? Youtube and this site kinda shows you how to start but not finish up the LST.

keep the first tie there. you will see all the inter node stretching and developing into a cola... Keep tying here as she grows. Once you reached how many colas/size of the plants you can stop tying her, but leave the old training there. She can stretch back up in a couple of hours! You are basically looking for more colas, horizontal growth & even canopy (essential for CFL's)

Here they are! Just went to 12/12 last night. I have 3 65 watt 2700, 3 42 watt 2700 and left 2 of the 42 watt 6500 lights for a total of 405 watts. Temps in the low 80's so I really can add any more lights.

Still using half strength fox farms nutes according to their feeding schedule alternating nutes and plain ph'ed water ever other feeding.

Boy they are starting to stink up the house too.

The 2nd pic is the purple haze that I'm LST'in. She is looking great. THird is northern lights x skunk#1 last pic is white widow. Just letting the WW and NL go after topping and fim'ing them.

Feedback?? Think I'm doing well for a first time grower??!

over-watering, ph, or nute burn can all cause yellowing of leaves. Over-watering might actually slow nutrient uptake by restricting root growth. The plant will have thin stems and will never really look healthy if you over-water. Wrong Ph can lockout nitrogen. Nute burn will yellow at just the tips of old growth.

Those are some DENSE plants you got going there.
Looking good! Can't wait for the flowers to start.

Trying to control myself with the watering is still an issue. Got to resist!

So I hear the rule of thumb is .4 grams per watt of cfl so using that logic I should get close to about 160 grams dry from these three plants? Does that sound about right?

Yield weight all depends on how long you veg for.
The bigger you get your plant, the more you'll yield.
Doing great by the way. Your ladies are looking perfect

I vegged for about 5 weeks so you think 3-4 oz's is reasonable for 400 watts of cfl?

Weed,
Very interesting LST plan. I'll have to think about that a bit. I can see using that same idea in my current grow. Not as far as you are taking it but at least part way... SHIT! now I'm changing plans again!!

Tng,

Looking Good! I hope you can get 3-4oz. I would love the get close to that. I'm sure that I wont, but ti would be nice. I'm just not set up for big production. Not with +200watts of light.
