Ok so now that i have my seeds popped and my box is looking great i really wanna get my grow journal going. ill be posting pics daily or when i get around to it and i welcome anybody to post giving advice or anything. I have one 2 day old Bomb Mystery OG sprout and 2 random bagseeds. i got the bomb mystery from the clinic it was dang and i found a seed. im really hoping that it is a female cause i would love to see how she would turn out. I know it for sure is indica dominant maybe a hybrid maybe pure. The other two look like a sativa. Right now im using a 3'H 1.6' wide 2'd box that i made from a chest i turned on its side so it has latches to shut tight. i have a 660w socket hanging with a shoelace set up with 2 y socket splitters and 2 23w Bright white cfls and 1 23w soft white cflView attachment 2103254View attachment 2103255View attachment 2103256View attachment 21032577.jpg5.jpg4.jpg2.jpg

your cab is pretty cool i made mine out of a night stand looking thing. if you have some more of the 6500k i would change one or maybe both of the 2700k for right now. in veg the plant mainly used 6500k and flowering it mainly uses 2700k. some people like to keep it mixed its all up to you. i have it mixed spectrum. if you have the room and are willing to find out if they are males later on you could keep vegging and it would be worth it if they turn out to be females. what kind of soil are you using? it looks like one might be nute burned a lil

I think trading out the foil for white plastic was a good move. I don't have first hand experience with it but i heard foil can create hotspots and doesn't reflect as much light since it is really designed to reflect heat anyways. Nice grow

thanks for the comments. yah the white plastic seems to work fine. all they are is glad trash bags i didnt open i just taped them up there nice and smooth and make the boxlook way cleaner. imma probly do the whole side when im not faded nd lazy haha. Im using some MG organtic or something. witch one looks alittle nute burn? my big one? shes been threw a rough life finally starting to take off. imma go get another y socket thing once i got extra casH and some more bright white bulbs. or maybe daylight bulbs . imma probly let them get 6 inches and then flower. i was wondering about watering right now im just sprinkling water from a water bottle with a hole in the lid around base of plants when soil looks really dry. i think its helping. thast how ur suppose to water right? and my biggest plant started with just soft whites her whole life then i upgraded now shes doing better. she was also droopy before cause i was over watering

Coming back at you from the other thread about enough light.

4 x 23w watt bulbs for 4 plants is a little under powered, but if you keep the plants a sensible size, you will get some good smoke, You have a compact grow space which helps. Maybe another couple of 2700k as soon as you can afford, but def for flowering. Check out this: https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-fluorescent-lighting/518032-my-yields-well-below-par.html

May I suggest investinga couple of quid into 4 smaller pots for the rest of veg. If those roots get tangled with each other in the big pots, you'll not be able to seperate them. It also helps position the plants in the best possible way.

Hey DJ - I'm just wonderin' do you have a Lowes near you? They carry really high wattage Utilitech CFL's (they're about 5" x 12") for $13 each. With a built in ballast and a standard lamp socket - I wish I still had mine lol. They get super hot though so they might not be good for small cabs like ours

I'mma tell you what I know about lights

2700k - red spectrum - flowering
6500k - blue spectrum - vegging

When you switch to 2700k bulbs for flowering - try to stay with mostly 2700k because the plants need more red light in flowering than they do in vegging. The addition of 6500k bulbs (while keeping a higher amount of 2700k bulbs) is supposed to help the plant grow because it throws some blue light in there on top of the red light - this is called dual spectrum. That's what I know about lighting, that is what is important about CFL's because they're consistently measured by K on the packaging. Also, the more the better for CFL's, they're not that great unless they're 20 of 'em lol. J/k someone told me 60 watts per plant is about a bare minimum. I have 69 watts in my cab for one plant, that's three CFL's that the electric company sends you lol. I'm rambling. Good luck bruh
