Looks like a splash to me....nutes a little strong....and for sure you need to be checking ph. I found a Milwaukee ph tester on amazon, like 14 bucks, alot more accurate than the strips. I'd test your soil runoff water too, that will tell you a lot. like if your run off is 5.0 you can up the ph of your nute batch or vice versa a high run off 8.0 lower the ph of nutes.

Simple co2 will help too no matter what just sugar water and yeast. cheap mix and up the ppms a bit only thing it's hard to know your ppm but chance are it won't get high enough to poison anyway....I'm running yeast and sugar this indoor DWC and it real tightend my nugs up!! No fluffy shit here. I got my mix in a bowl with a fan blowing across the top to circulate?? good luck.

Thanks for the advice! i went out and got a ph tester to test my next water mixture. I will be going out a little later to get the supplies to make some co2 with water sugar and yeast... Is it better to use a 2 liter bottle with a hole at the top, or a bowl? I heard with a bowl the mixture doesnt last very long at all.

Well folks, just got a ph kit, and tested my ph and it was off the scale! at least 8.0 or higher! So ive balanced it now for the next watering, just gonna give them water with half strength silica to help with the heat. I also went out and got some yeast and suger to make my DIY co2 fermenters from 2 liter bottles. gonna make those and have them ready for when the lights come on tonight. hoping all of these changes will help significantly. They are still slowly growing even with all these problems, they are some tough little buggers.

Might post some pics later today, looks like they've had about 1" or 1.5 " of growth since the last pics.

Stay tuned!

Hopefully the plants perk up and take off again over night with all the changes. Here some up to date pics and specs.

The Diablo OG is starting to smell skunky already, should that be happening already? I haven't started flowering yet, alittle weird isnt it? maybe im crazy ahahah
If anyone has any insight to this, let me know, ill look it up right now as well.

Well, until next time
stay high!

yeah the bowl I noticed does use up faster than the bottles but in my sit. the bottles are lower than the plants, since co2 is heavy than air I felt as if i need to vent more per say? and have the fans blow it across the top of the bowl. at first i rig a T shaped airline from a two liter above my plants with hole every three to four inches inline but with the shaking of the 2 liter it was more of a hassle? so i went to a bowl? i stir whenever i think about it? seems to be working fine! plus this entire grows co2 cost was maybe 9 bucks only problem is I can't regulate my ppm.....? if you notice less bubbles and dont get pressure off shaking just add more sugar for the yeast to feed on...I change my whole co2 batch every couple weeks? smells like a brewery after a while!? lol i don't mind that though.

make sure to test your runoff water too. u can sort of judge the ph of the soil that way.......you say off the scale at least ph8.0+ is that of your nutewater?

yea im going to test the runoff during the next feeding, but yes my nutrient solution was that high. looked to be at the end of the spectrum of the tester at 8.5, crazy I know lol.

I have the co2 bottles set up and they are full to the top.. It smells like a Budweiser factory in there hahaha which I dont really mind either lol..

I might use these Co2 bags I found online, ive seen nothing but great reviews on them and they are cheap and work for 6 months straight..

Just checked and balanced the ph in my nute solution, its at about 6.0-6.2 range going into the soil, and the run off is at 6.5-6.6 range. I hope this will help out the plants alot. We will see what happens!

Sorry, forgot to mention, this feeding was just water and half strength silica. Next feeding will be 1/4 strength grow big, and 1/2 strength silica. Then next one will be just water, then ill up the dosage of grow big after the that.

@bobvilla777 they look nice! I wouldn't worry too much about a couple leafs here and there complaining... does look like some nute effects though.
At that size I would recommend 1/4 - 1/3 of the recommended Grow Big dosage - less is better some times ;) I'm no pro but I generally hold the rule, especially during veg, that if the plants look healthy with no deficiencies then I go very lightly on nutes (1/4 strength, only feeding every other watering)

Also I recommend MycoStim or other myco products to everyone :)

Thanks man! yea i think i got a little greedy with the nutes and over did it, so i backed off on them for now. they seem to be reacting well now. I think i started to have some nute/salt lock up, but everything looks better now. Ill look into some of the myco products, ive never heard of them but ill definitely take a look!

Yeah man, Myco products (i used MycoStim) are great in my opinion.
I use every time now when transplanting...rub the rootball with em and you won't have to deal with transplant shock.

Here are the benefits off the package:
-Enhanced growth & nutrient uptake
-Resistance to transplant shock
-Vigorous plants
-Stress resistant
-Improved plant quality, yields, and vigor

And... DON"T smell the water after you mix it! Nastyyyyyyy Lol but the plants love it ;)

Hey guys!

Got a quick question, i think im seeing some white hairs (like pistols) on my white widow already. How is this possible? i might be crazy lol but they look like little white hairs to me. Ill try to post a decent pic.

Just to give a quick update, They are looking alot healthier now than before. Ill try to get some pics up later tonight when the lights come back on. Just waiting to save up enough money to get my new flowering tent that im gonna use. most likely a 48"x48"x78" or maybe a 40"x40"x78".

After that, my plans are to get some supplies for keeping mothers (ie cfl light and reflector) and keeping clones (tray and dome). That way i can order some seeds/clones of strains that i want to try and mother and start a perpetual grow!

But I need to finish this grow start to finish to I can get the whole process down before I try to overload myself with too much stuff and end up getting nothing from the perpetual grow!

Well some pics should be up later tonight in about 2 hours or so.. or whenever I feel like not being lazy lmao

Stay tuned!
Stay High!
