First Grow Vivosun 600w LED

Hello everyone, this is my first grow with LED. I have grown with ghetto CFL bulbs on light strips growing up as a kid. So you could say I'm new to doing it legitimately as an adult and legally. Like stated in the title I have a 4ft by 4ft by 6ft vivosun tent with a 600w vivosun LED. So to kick off this thread, I'm going to start with I got everything set up today. I will take pictures of the inside of the grow tent. I don't want to open it more than necessary. I will take pictures tomorrow, when the lights kick on in the morning before I go to work. I've purchased a critical Kush clone from the dispensary for $25 the label is dated critical Kush then tea under that Idk what the tea is for or what it means. But the date is 8/17/21 so this clone is about a month old. I wanna take some clones off it ASAP so i can grow more then just 1 plant for my first run. How many can i take now and not hurt the plant much and how many plants in the future can i grow efficiently and use all the space efficiently. In this set up But for this grow im fine with even 3 or 4 plants. Because I don't have another set up in general so I need to do my Grows All as one all the way through start to finish. Here where I live under the license and stuff that I can grow is 6 plants I'm not shoes sure if it's six plants in general or if it's six plants in veg and six plants in flower so I will look more into that but I'm curious what I be able to grow all six in this with the 600 watt light? In the future but of course be on that question let's get back to the whole point can I take two or three clones off of it now and it should be okay to the point they will be able to go into flower at the same time because I only have one set up when I take the Clones I will put them in a EZ cloner that has a dome which I will take pictures of as well but I'm planning on taking the clothes and putting them in the dome and I will just have them in the tent under the same light as the plant that I'm taking them from and then of course I will transplant them ASAP. By the looks of it as you can tell as well the plant I believe was topped once already. Here are some pictures of the plant. Really my dad grew like 4 plants in there or maybe it was 6. But so ur telling me even though it has veg and flower switches I should just have both on regardless if its in veg or flower?

Yep. Get as much light/wattage in there as you can. That 600w rating is more of a 'performs like a 600w traditional light' rating kind of thing that many of the light companies do. The red light is more helpful for flowering but really you just want to get as much energy on your plants as you can.

Yes … always . No point in giving plant even less power than what true power was listed.

Sold as “ 600” .. actual is more like 270 then you only use one color channel of that …

You should squeeze as much light out of it regardless if that janky veg / bloom switch

I flicked on the other switch so now veg and Bloom are both on. I transplanted that clone into a big pot I believe its a 5gal or 7gal. Also I took 3 clones after giving the original I got from the dispens. Those clones were cut on 9/16, so its been 2 days now. They are looking great all 3 of them are perked straight upward reaching for the light. Im going to let this plant veg more then top it. Which would be its second time being topped, due to the dispens topped it there. I will check for root development on day 7 which will be 9/23, depending on how much root production. I will then transplant them into a cell pod, then into a big pot like the original. I gave the original some food in its watering after transplanting, 1/4 tsp of grow from dyna grow. Also added 1/8 tsp of rapid start root enhancer to help promote good root growth now that I transplanted it, Into its forever home. Yesterday I lightly misted the dome for the clones, and same today. because the condensation wasn't very high on the dome. After spraying them today I'm pretty sure they will be good until day 7, and transplant.

Here is pictures of those 3 clones they look great all 3 are pointed straight up to the light i have them off the side of the tent parallel with the light. Here's some pictures of my dad's outdoor grow is backyard enjoy *Cheers*

Hows everybody doing!? Good I hope! Ive had this main clone from the dispens a week and 2 days ago. I topped her and did some lst. I watered her day before yesterday w 1 gallon of water w dyna grow grow and protek and rapid root ph 6.5. Today i checked the soil its still good no need to water. I did a gallon because i recalibrated my ph meter and my tds/EC meter. So i wanted to make sure she only had good ph water through the pot due to transplanting her into her forever pot. As of yesterday the clippings have been in the dome for a week they're not showing any roots coming out of the root Riot cubes so hopefully within the next week they will be rocking and rolling.

It is 270w I checked. Im thinking about getting another one of those so i can have 2 in my 4x4x6 until i can invest i. Another tent to veg and get a $900 light for flowering in the 4x4x6 and veg in a smaller tent w the 2 600w leds so with 2 it would be 270+270=540w for vegging

Just looking at it, I see at least 5 cuts I would take. I would hope for a 80% rooting, worst case 0% if I fuxed the cuts with contamination or me saying fux this and leaving the cuts in water overnight because I got lazy halfway through the task like I do.

*Update*
The main clone is bouncing back well. I checked the cuttings 2 of them are doing amazing one had a bunch of roots. The other had roots coming through the root riot starter. The 3rd cutting isnt showing any roots so I left that one in the dome for a few more days. To see if it shows roots but it is starting to droop so we will see. I transplanted the 2 good ones into 1 gal circle pots. Mother Earths CoCo 70-30 Perlite Mix. Gave them a light water and raised them to match the top of the main plant.

Lol right. Well I took 3 cuttings and 2 so far showing roots 9 days from when i cut

Day 10 / yesterday I transplanted the two clones showing roots through the root riot starter. I put them both in 1 gal pots. Gave them a light sprinkle of water. Today 11th day checked on them and the main clone all 3 looking amazing. Gave the two clones a light top mist on the medium. The Main clone is still looking good bouncing back from the heavy watering at transplant. Still havent watered since that day of transplant. The leafs were all pointed upward for the past 2 days rather then having that over watered look. Once she shows signs of droop is when I will finally give her a drink which I already made the gallon of water mixture. 1/4 tsp dyna grow grow, 1/4 tsp dyna grow mag pro, 1/8 tsp general hydroponics rapid start rooting enhancer. Ph 6.0 I cant remember to be 100% I got stoned and now im drawing blanks I believe the ppm was flashing back and forth from 750 to 790 at least i think it was 7xx.... Ill check before I do the feeding. Like i said I made the mix i havent fed with it yet. Do i need to raise the ph a little or is it good at 6.0 for coco perlite 70%-30% mix.

The stems are purple and or red color and then where the friendships or stem to Branch intersect there is a green bubble not on the outside it's inside as if the stem has a big bubble where it intersects or something I assumed that I was having a phosphorus deficiency so last night I P H some water to 6.3 gave her a light spray I'ma give it a few days let the growing medium dry out and then I'm going to do like a gallon of water to flush the whole pot out with the 6.3 pH water which has Dyna Gro nutrients in it I did 1/4 of a teaspoon of grow and then 1/4 of a teaspoon of mag pro and 1/8 of a teaspoon if rapid starter root enhancer.

I'm going to give it a few days and before I water her next time I will pull her out of the grow tent and put her outside in the sun and take some pictures but hopefully by then the plan is doing better or maybe I'm wrong and there's nothing wrong with it and I'm just being a worried father LOL
