Thanks gumz! I'm just going to stop trying to predict when they'll be finished because I'm thinking I'm a long ways off. That's awesome and a little bit of a bummer at the same time but I'll wait if it means a bigger yield!

And just like you said, it appears the BBH's roots have finally reached the bottom of the pot (one is actually sticking out, haha) and it's starting to grow now. Really excited about these two plants.

The Jack Flash clone I took was beat bad but it looks like it's TRYING to make a recovery. We'll see how that all goes. Not one sign of roots but I'm patient and this poor thing's been through a lot. I'm going to change the water tonight/tomorrow and see where we go from there.

The AK-47 clone has been really stagnant too. I put it into the soil ridiculously early and it's looked more or less exactly the same ever since, just a bit more erect. The tips have yellowed though so I'm thinking it's finally got some roots a-reachin'. It was dry so I gave it some water today with just a small drop of Liquid Karma. That stuff's worked on everything else I have so let's see how this lil clone likes it!

If the roots are sticking out of the pot its way past time to transplant. You want to protect your roots at all costs, bigger roots=bigger buds

Nah, it was most likely just a determined root. Plant's too tiny and young to be rootbound. Plus, I'd literally have no room at all for a bigger pot. The tight squeeze in the veg box is only gettin' tighter while the flower box is fully occupied (at least for right now, don't feel like moving anything else around).

I see some red hairs in there! How many bulbs are you using to flower H&P? Are they all the same 2700k? I should be getting my seeds this week. Temps look good in the box. I added to intake fans to help with air flow and cooling. I am still worried about humidity...it is so fucking dry here in the desert... It rained yesterday and the humidity was still only 30%!!! Fuck!! My grow box is in my garage so I am trying a humidifier in the garage to see if it helps... My garage is pretty big at 700sqft so I dont know how much it will help. I have two pineapple plants in my box right now...brought them back from Maui...yummy. But they will take a back seat when my ladies come in. I will check on the last two weedlings today to see if they have made any recovery... will let you know. Anyone heard from Easy??

Hey hudsman, can't wait to hear about the seedlings. Hopefully your box will be up and running again soon! I haven't heard from Easy, probably banging snowbunnies on that skiing trip, haha.

Hey hudman, make sure you place that humidifier as close as you can to your intake. Its gonna do its best to humidify your entire garage, so this will send as much humidity into your grow as possible, without placing it in your grow box.

Some pics from and of the Veg box today.

First pic is of the inside, packed and the big girls just keep on growin'. I think the AK-47 likes it a bit better here than under the 1 13W CFL so I think I'll keep it here.

Next 4 pics are some before and after LSTing of the BBH.

Last ones are of the Ice Cream and the AK-47.

Basically I can't wait 'til the two in the flower box finish because I'd love to get these two transplanted into bigger pots and then in there ASAP!

But for now it's just tie tie tie.

got it...thanks gums... yeah seedlings are toast. I thought maybe two might be making a comeback but no. On almost all of them it looked as if the stems were pinched or shriveled at possibly the point that they fell over. not sure if them falling over caused that or not. Like H&P said I think me spraying them was probably what did it. I have seeds coming any day now. Will be looking to get back on the grow. This time no misting of the seedlings. I know my temps are good as I have been checking all last week. I also know that I can raise the humidity with the humidifier...seems to work ok. I have talked to others that say the low humidity shouldnt be a problem.... I guess we will find out. Hey Gum you growing everything in that PC case or do you have a larger box?

Fuck man, I'm sorry the seedlings didn't make it hudsy. Ya I have 2 boxes, one 65W CFL 6500K Veg and one 260W CFL 2700K flower box made of Rubbermaid bins.

And already planning on my next flowering box since someone will be inheriting the veg box to start her own and I need to ramp shit up.

Since you also started in party cups I have a couple ?? When you planted the germed seed in the party cup how deep did you plant and how soon after did you water for the first time? Not counting your initial watering to ready the soild for the planting. ALso on average how close to your lights did you keep your plants whil in the party cups?

I plant just about an inch deep, cover the seed and water it in with a capful of tap water. I don't water it after then until the cup has dried up completely (which is basically the rule I've been following throughout this entire process. And I keep the plants about 1-2" from the lights throughout the entire process as well with the exception of the small clones.

excellent....seeds should be in the mail box today or tomorrow...will germ this weekend and presto...back in business! How are the ladies? Smelly? How is that filter working out? Would you recommend it?

Filter's working great pal and the girls are lookin' great as well. I'll post some pics from the roaster when they wake up tomorrow, buds are getting big and I picked a couple of leaves off of Roz to let some extra light in during her final week(s).

The only thing getting stinky is the veg box, so I need to build a smaller carbon filter for that which is whatever since I bough excess materials the first time for this reason exactly.

can you post a pic of that filter again? Maybe describe it... I will probably need one as well do you vent it anywhere or does the carbon just clean the smell out? I will post pics as well as soon as I get my girls sprouted and under lights.

Active carbon filters clean the air, but the carbon does get used up so depending on if you go with the replacement active carbon filter, or build one and use active carbon that you buy in a container.. The replacement filters don't last nearly as long as the ones you can build with active carbon that you get in a container.. Do a search there are a few decent carbon filter diy's around.. :)

Here ya go hudman,

If you look you can see where the ducting connects to my exhaust fan and routes the stink through the carbon filter (black and silver can thing on the ground) where it's un-stinked.

It works great but I need something better than duct tape to connect the venting to the fan and the fan to the box lol.

So cheap.

thats so awesome! hahaha love duct tape....fixes anything. Also love the word un-stinked...I will have to borrow that my friend. What exhaust fan are you using? What is the cfm?
