So you may notice there are leaves that have been cut. The powdery mildew is back. I'm not sure that I want to keep spraying elium this far into flower. I'd hate to contaminate the buds. So I have resorted to a more aggressive approach. I havent been taking the entire leaf. But taking the portions I am finding the pm on. With a bit of space past the infection.
I have been doing daily checks. And I am finding less and less each day. So it seems to be working so far.

Week 6 is among us.
The pm is still a battle. And I'm not sure that I am winning. I spend far too much time each day inspecting every inch of this plant. Clipping any pm i find. She just seems susceptible to this crap. The other plants aren't showing signs.
Even the little clone I've resurrected has shown pm. And she's in a different space in the house.
This has me wondering. Is it the strain?

I havent been able to get the rh above 35 at any point in the grow. Conditions are less than ideal for the pm.

Ill give it a try. Pretty sure I have all of these
It works but I suggest you take all the plants out the tent and get you a spray bottle and put some and put a teaspoon of bleach in it and spray and whipe everything down. You've got to kill the spores and they're everywhere, think dandelions. Spray the girls down with the mix and put them back in. Turn the fans off for the next week or so and keep that spray handy for clusters that pop up and you should be over this but the end of the month or close to it.

Thank you so much for the input. I'll get on it asap. I'm hoping to get it under control before the harvest. I'm figuring 2 weeks and she will be ready. Originally I was planning for a 2 day dark period. But the pm is going to mess that up. So ill do a morning chop

Gave them all a spray down last night. Had such a busy evening that I finished up right at lights out. Though I didn't have time for a wipe down on the tent. But I will get it today. I realized I missed my mid week update. But this pic will do for now.

Good Job lets hope that starts the process. I've been here and the only thing that can stop this is cleaning everything and keeping the air circulating.

Saturday morning update.
Haven't seen any more pm since the last treatment. We are at week 7 now. And she's starting to ripen up. But the trichs still aren't there yet. They are getting milky and there is the odd amber. I also started playing around with the photo editor on my phone.

Baking soda is great for a home remedy, but if you like the results you got from it, you should buy some potassium bicarbonate to have on hand for next time. Less salt, works equally well or better, and the foliar potassium is a nice bonus during bloom. Just keep in mind these will both fry your pistils a bit, which isn't a big deal. Hard to treat PM once it's in there during flower, but you look like you dealt with it pretty well.

It has been a multi pronged approach. Between the clipping leaves. Elium and the baking soda mix. I should make it to harvest. I'm thinking ill have to change out the furnace filter. And maybe build an intake filter of some sort. It doesn't matter how much I treat or clean the tent. I cant seem to beat it.
Oh and I took some more pictures.

I'm trying to figure out what to do right now. I have work and a prospecting trip at the end of the month. I leave on the 24th. And come back on the 29th.
She is so close to being ready. I could have the cut and dried by then. If I cut the Wednesday before. I can bring the jars for burping. Not so worried about the cure.

I'm just having a hard time deciding whether I should wait to chop when I get back. Or do it before I leave. I tried a sample bud. And I am happy with the high. And I don't want anything too heavy.

I just really don't want to be gone while its drying.

Any opinions? I just don't want too much amber

I meant to post these last night. But I have made the decision. She started her dark time. Going for just shy of 24hrs dark before chop. The dominant cola is still putting out the odd white hair. But the rest of the plant has stopped all signs of visible growth. And the trichs are really starting to amber up. I'm going to have to get creative on how to slow down the dry time. I cant get any part of the house above 40%. That will be the last of the challenges to overcome with this specific grow. But I'm glad we are nearing the end.

Its on to bigger projects now. Spring is almost here. And its time to get planting.

Well its done. There's no going back now.
It was a great journey. And its on to bigger and better plants. Dropped some beans into some water this evening. In preparation for spring planting.
I dropped 2 Northern lights and 2 blueberry afghan. Both reg seeds.
And for fems.
I dropped a hash lover. A fruity widow and 2 Bubba kush.
I also have a clone of the long beach kush.
She will stay inside. I will be Scrogging her this time around.
All the seedlings will be planted at other places that have offered up garden space. Freeing up my personal garden for some autos.
