Been far too long since my last grow.
But the time has finally come.
Starting off with a 2x3 tent with two chambers.
And I will be adding a 4x4 down the road.
The biggest factor with that is space. I'm going to see is I can make the 4x4 fit in my place. If not. I will put it away until I can find a new place.

So what I have set up right now.
Is a 2x3 tent. With dual chambers. I still have to sort out lighting for the small side.
But for the big side. I have 2 of these Aponuo led lights. They are sold as 1000watt replacement. But pull around 200w at the wall. I found a video review of the light. You can see that here.

I'm thinking this may be quite overkill for the space. As these were originally meant for the 4x4 tent that will be here in a few weeks.

I guess we will just wait and see how the plants react to such intense lighting.

For strains. I was given a doe si doe, a long Beach kush and a purple Bubba.

I still can't seem to figure out how to add pictures of my plants. I have tried multiple times now. But they won't work. But pictures without plants load just fine.

Now when my cousin dropped all this gear off. He also brought a pile of other goodies. Loads of nutes to go with what I already have. He also brought some more lights and fans.
There is a 600 watt hps ballast and hood.
And a 150 watt hps fixture.

Well I found a work around for the pictures. Though they are going to take a huge hit in the quality of the photo.
It will let me upload screen shots of my pictures. But not the original copies.

My plan at the moment. Is in a few days. I am going to top and clone these beauties. Then start lst after a transplant.
I'm figuring a week or two after that. Once they start to bush out real nice. I'll flip the lighting. And get these girls flowering.

I gave them a watering last night with some cal mag and gh bio root. Gonna have to get out shopping for some substrate. Its almost time for a transplant I have some air pots already. Also need some smaller pots. For the next round. Trying to decide whether to clone these. Start some seed. Or buy some clones

So I am trying to figure out what's going on with the droop on their leafs. The stalk seem rigid. With a pretty prominent curve. Its not floppy like dehydration. There is also some spotting on some of the leafs.
Anyone have any ideas?
I had hoped that the transplant would make them happier. But that wasn't the case.

The pictures are finally loading!!
Well ill start off with a group shot.
Just ran a bunch of water through the pots. It is a calculated risk. As I transplanted last night. I did some reading around this afternoon and found that the curling leaves is usually caused by a buildup of nutrients. So did a flush tonight. But I'm sure the new soil can handle a quick flush.
Decided to run with some happy frog potting soil.
The long beach kush looks the worst of the bunch. 20201231_180123.jpg20201231_180112.jpg20201231_180050.jpg20201231_180025.jpg
But I'm sure she will perk up in a few days. I'm hoping she responds to the topping well. But I kind of wonder if this strain would be more suited to sogging. As she doesn't seem to be getting nearly as bushy as the 2 others.

Purple Bubba is looking pretty good so far. But still has a wicked downward curl to the leafs.

Looked like I will have to split this post as I cant upload any more pictures.

Dosido is looking pretty good as well.
A tad yellow. But I feel that will clear up once she stretches her roots.
And again with that same steep curl.

And a quick update on the clones.
They look awesome! Nice and strong. Still quite happy.

I am growing at my house indoors. And don't trust my neighbors enough to grow in my yard. So I contacted my dad to see about growing at his place this summer.
He has an absolutely massive garden space. So much that he can't use it all. So I got the go ahead to plant up his yard this coming spring. The plan is. To start the babies indoors. And veg to a decent size before they move outside.
I have a limit of 4 plants. Which is legal around here.
What I am trying to figure out is what strains to run outdoors. I'm hoping to find a disease resistant stain. As well as mildew resistant.
There will be many other veggies and what not in the same area. So pests and pm are very good possibilities.

Thinking 4 different strains. I can run indica and faster flowering hybrids. Sativas are out of the question. Unless I can't find some around 8 week flowering. I'm planning to run photo period plants vs autos. As I want to maximize yields.
Snow usually arrives end of Oct to Nov. Though this past year we had snow mid Oct. It didn't stick around for long.
Semi arid desert climate. Low precipitation in the summer and fall around here.
The garden beds are drip fed raised beds.

Does anyone have some recommendations for strains.

Finally we are getting somewhere.
It was a stressful few days for all of us. A few days back. I noticed a bit of pm on one plant. I had made plans to go get something to take care of it. But waited another day as I was busy. The following day. I went in. And all three had an outbreak. Turns out the last owner of these plants had a huge outbreak over there. And he lost his flower chamber to it.
I went and picked up a bottle of elium. And after two treatments. I'm not seeing any. So fingers crossed.
They got their first watering since transplant today. And I must say. They are looking much healthier than when they arrived.
This was the first day of noticeable growth. And it was a good day of growing. Almost a quarter inch on my fimmed top.

Here is dosido.
The past deficiencies are still visible. But new growth is looking nice.

Purple Bubba looks better as well.
Though one of the upper fans isn't looking too nice. A little limp and wavy looking.20210105_183942.jpg20210105_183930.jpg20210105_183906.jpg

Long beach kush is also on the mend.
Not sure what the deal is eith the rusty spots. I'll get reading and figure it out.

Decided to do some lst tonight, thinned out the inside of all those little suckers hiding inside. Hoping to induce a bit of stretch as well. Spread them wide open. I'm thinking next week I'll be flipping the timer. And we will get them flowering. I'm starting to get excited. 20210105_215324.jpg20210105_215336.jpg

Checked then out last night. And they weren't looking so happy. After coming across one thread about too much light causing what looked to be a cal mag deficiency. I decided to shut off the second light. And they are looking much better today. I guess it will stay off for now. I may turn it back on during flower to see how they handle it .

Well I may have gone a little overboard with the pictures this go around. But I am happy with how far they have come since they arrived here. I'll start with a couple group shots and the long beach kush.
