Starting autos in their final pot is a myth.........most auto growers start in small pots and transplant.
Even Mephisto, who only sell autos, recommends starting in small pots and transplanting.
I don't know who started the myth that autos are easy and a good choice for beginners?
They're not.
Good luck.
Well, i will definitely remember that with next growth and use small planter...
I honestly don't know, but most information i gathered said to plant in perm pot :(

as the plants eat they leave saltz behind and that burns the roots the same as over feed
Well, i started in this pot so I'll just see how it goes.. Nothing i can do about it now lol.
Thanks for all the info, wish i have found these forums earlier.

Yah I'm already looking into it. Definitely gonna do some LST,...thats if this lil' one survives lol!
You'll know next time too. Its already a beast. Saw some ppl get rid of lower leaves too, to increase light exposure.

You may not know it OP but you are getting advice from a half dozen of the smartest folks here. What they are saying, in essence, is you will do great and should spend some time reading something you can trust. Dont get internet advice and dont plan on the fly. Have a plan.

Daily feeding to substantial run off in coco prevents salt build up.
I've been growing in coco for over a decade and I have never had salt build up...........and I never check my run off.
