Are you going to do high stress training on your plant? Because I start that is early as I can it doesn't matter if your lights are close or far away with that they were going to grow the secondary branches to be equal with the primary Cola turning all into colas if you do it right do some research on high-stress training really it's just bending the plant and being careful when you do so so it doesn't break to get the plants arms to grow bigger towards the light. It's easy and fun

Things seem to be going good I don't want anything out of control for my first grow so i switched to 12 12 after a month from sprout to early?

At this stage I would literally tie the tops down to the side of the pots or place some kind of weight on the base of the stalks to keep them bent over. These pics show the crazy amount of colas you will get per lant after doing this with later adding supercropping. It also keeps the plants bushy rather than growng straight up.14972886735681141825342.jpg 1497288716960-444839344.jpg

Hmm...closet also.? My only problem with that is how many lights i have if my plants were to get that big i don't think i have enough light to cover all 6 using cfls I already think i need more light ...I got like a little over 300 watts not equiv. But true

If I can get a half or a little more i would be happy with first grow but Idk sounds messes up but im hoping 1 or 2 are male and i can get rid of a couple but Idk if that's happening lol

The thing is if you don't start training now eventually you may need to clip stuff early which isn't fun. Yep my closet has put out very very well. This is something to think about later as well if you are limited on light availability. https://www.rollitup.org/t/south-facing-window-weed-cage.942698/

I just get sad when I see single cola plants because with the smallest amount of training and around the exact same amount of space same lights but 2 3 4 times the amount of bud at harvest and prettier more interestingly shaped plants as well

How do mine look though considering your opinion
They look healthy! I wouldn't recommend the training if they were struggling you haven't seemed to run into light problems yat but your consensus is correct I imagine if you don't upgrade to at the very least 450 you may even need to thin the gaggle of girls. 600 watts would sustain and thrive
