k so day 10 on the clones and i still see no roots but they are as healthy as they have ever been since i backed the light off.

i just got my lamp and put it all together, i have 2 5 gallon buckets full of water already premixed for the first batch in the system, all phed and everything.

i neglected to get hanging shit for my lamp so im going to have to get some from the hardware store in the next few days.

im stuck between keeping my mother as a mother or just flowering it with the clones... i have more seeds so i dont need a constant mother...

i tried the diy zen carbon filter and i gata say... i couldnt get air through it no matter what. i even took out half the charcoal and it still doesnt really work...

k well i decided that im just going to flower out my mother with the clones after i veg them all for a while longer.

since i decided to flower my mother, i just transplanted her into a bigger pot with fresh new soil and finally some nutrient solution.

i was wanting to LST her if i was going to flower but she was perty tall before i decided, so while i was transplanting i figured hey why not just transplant it basically on its side, that way i wont have to deal with it getting stressed from me bending it over and i will get the benefits of LST. i took a before and after picture of this because i have never really seen a plant replanted on its side like this.

i have never done LST so any advice on what the next thing to do would be i would appreciate any tips.

oosps, forgot pics... sry:sleep:
Try to bend it to the left or right a few inches, you can use yarn or string to tie it down. But after a day you can bend it some more and slowly make it into a spiral. That's what I'm doing with one of mine. See what I mean...

i tied the top down after i took those last pics(you can see the string in pic 3 now) so that it wont be able to just bend the whole plant back up strait but im just going to leave it how it is now... im sure when the branches grow out more i will tie them down too to spread it out. heres a pic. see how much its already bending toward the lighting? and i had to come up with a kinda wierd method for lighting it equaly untill i get my 400w runnin. ill post a pic of the whole setup now also. so i it goes 30w 6500k, 26w 2700k, 26w 6500k. kinda mixing specs... but working great for like 12 hours in...

thanks brother man! glad to have ya. my mother is kindof big for the pot shes in... shes 16 inches and was still in a 2.4 liter pot. so you could imagine how the soil would be one big root ball basically... this did make it hard to water for the last week or so... i found a pot that whas deep enough so that i could put a layer of fresh dirt at the bottom and then just lift my root ball out of the old pot by the stem as close to the dirt as i could. my meristem is as big as a pencil so its strong and the roots kept all the soil together. anyway i took the pot shaped root ball and put it into the pot just like the pic. didnt tie it till after that. so the plants was just transplanted into a bigger container as far sideways and with enough dirt to make the stem clear the rim of the pot. the more you can get it on its side the better.

No problem... I just can't wait to see what mine will turn out to look like once I'm done.

the meristem (red) and all the branch tops that will hopefully shoot up (blue) are traced and circled.
