First grow ever.

Hello all ive been a long time reader but only just registered an account.

Im about to start my first grow properly.. I say properly because rite now they are sat under a 4 watt led bulb, red spectrum i think. i have 3 bag seed plants, 1 cutting of incredible bulk and 2 cuttings of jack flash coming in a few weeks.

I purchased a 200 watt dual spectrum cfl with barn style reflector which should be landing tomorrow, my growing space is a cupboard built into my room it is very small At around (i say around as there is a boxed section in the far left corner which takes away a bit of space its about 6 inches wide on eitherside and runs all the way up) 1.8 foot by 2.8 foot and 5 foot tall. I was going to run just 2 plants but i have a few more, is there a way i can juggle them whilst growing in order to keep them all? Im not sure the three bag seed are females yet anyway. If they are im planning to grow and flower the 2 biggest bag seed and the incredible bulk, im hoping if i build a spare vegging box ill be able to keep the two jack flash cutting alive and small on the 4 watt bulb on a 14-10 cycle until im ready for them.

I need to yield around 3 ounce for it to be worth my time just so ill have enough until my next crop ill be limited to cheap nutes i.e. tomato feed for flowering and baby bio for vegging until my next grow, is 3 ounce achievable for a first grow under cfl in such a small space? Why not buy a small grow tent man? Thats gonna be almost impossible

I dont think u gonna be able to pull 3oz in that space with cfls. Take a pic of the space to c. Can u grow better in a closet or a bathroom?

U are not gonna have space for 6 plants

U maybe better in holding up in the cuttings and just grow the bagseed until u get familiar with growing, out of those 3 plants pic the best female and only flower 1 plant, then if u do some training and top the plant maybe once or twice. Maybe u can achieve 3oz if u get the right spectrum lights for veg and flower, and thats assuming that u will give at least average condition, like good watering and feeding habits and schedule's, right rt/rh, soil, ph etc

Also i encourage u to goggle. www.howtogrowmarijuana.com you gonna have to do some serious reading before starting, u cant veg in a 14/10 light schedule. It has to be at least 18/6 and then 12/12 for flowering. Best of luck buddy!!

Ahh i wasnt aware, i assumed as long as it got more then 12 hours of light it would just keep vegging, what will happen if i 14-10 it surely will not flower? Ill try upload a pic of room. Still work in progress as you see, ive seen people pulling 2 ounces of 1 plant with 150 watt dual spectrum cfl. Ill squeeze two in there i think.

Thats good for 2 plants i will say imo, or u can do the 3 clones there without topping or training. Also read on that link i gave u before u do anything, u can veg with 24/0, 20/4 or 18/6 no less then flower with 12/12. Also wt spectrum are ur lights? 6500k or 2700k? What soil u planning on using? U gonna need ventilation, also read about how much and when to water cannabis plants, same about feeding schedule's, light distance from canopy, optimal rh/rt optimal ph range for cannabis etc etc etc etc

I mean u can pull a pound with 1 plant but u need to do scrog method, veg for 90 days, and have some good hid lights, and of course almost perfect conditions.. Do some reading brah it will playoff. GL

I will read the link, im not going to have any ventilation this time, other then the door a jar and a 10 inch fan on low, the spectrum of the light is both, 2700k and 6500k so 100 watts of each. Im hoping with it been cfl heat wont be to much of an issue as i live in england and it is winter rite now so the ambient temperature with no light in there is 17 degrees celcius. Also with cfl i should be able to get very close to the plants buds when they appear. If you fleabay "

U can veg with mix spectrums but u need mostly 6500k and for flowering u can also mix spectrums but it have to be mostly 2700k

only have 200 watt dual spectrum cfl, i may get a 300watt 2700k cfl for flower next grow. I need to produce a fair amount quickly, im thinking at 3 months per plant so id need just over 3 ounce to have around a gram per day. Its 10 gbp for 1 gram here, or 180 to 200 gbp per ounce im so sick of paying that.

That will work for veg but for flowering u gonna need more watts of 2700k spectrum. Personally i wouldn't flower any plant with no less than 300 actual watts of 2700k. GL

The cfl wattage i mention is actual not equivelant to. I have no choice but to try flower with the 200w dual spectrum this time but i will deffinately get a 300w red cfl for next grow, also i have read blue spectrum during flower is good as it produces more resin, will my resin/trich production suffer going all red?

Ok relax grasshopper, u need to be oriented and have knowledge before u can pull that weight, i will suggest READ,READ,AND READ and when u think u know it all READ SOME MORE. its for ur own good. Read that link that i gave u completely fella! best of luck

I certainly will, thank you for your input, ill update this post with how its coming along, so you guys can spot my mistakes before i burn my plants or over nute them... Lol how do i like the posts?/i cant see the option on my phone.

The images the first is my light, second is my bulb, third is when seedings emerged, pictures four and five is the box i am growing in currently until my cupboard is ready. And the sixth is a picture of them i took yesterday.
