15th day of 12/12 I only took pictures of the bubblelicious today. Going to have to figure out something as far as height goes. It's 19" and showing no signs of slowing down. Sour Cream is 16". Bubble is 3" from the lights now so it can't be much taller. Any ideas? I think it's safe to say I miss calculated when I was building the box(in a rush)

might be able to put a screen in there...do a makeshift scrog setup...that would spread the tops out to get more light...and keep it low...and ive done light lst well into flowering and it seem to help it more then harm it

Not too sure if I can do a scrog setup. I tied down the stem a little bit with some hemp(lol) twine. It went well. It's about 3" lower than it was. Still see no sign of the bubblelicious trying to hermi so that's good. Sour cream is looking great. Still don't smell anything, I'm not sure if it's just the plants or the fact that I miscalculated(rushing again) the size fan I needed for the box. It's only a 5 cu ft box whereas the fan moves 110cfm.

i have the same problem that you do. I just bent my stems. It wont fix your problem, but it will give you some room. I do this every other day. The plants always manages to go back up though. I emailed nirvana about the problems with the plants and they game me a pretty sweet compensation

Lookin' good bro!

What I did was get some pipe cleaners (or twist ties or something, pipe cleaners are cheap, reusable, and won't cut into the trunk as bad as other tieing methods IME). Bent the top of the stem to a 90ish degree angle and tie it to itself so it'll make an upsidedown L shape, the tip will start growing back up straight w/in 24-48 hrs. I kept tieing her down up until the 4th week of flower.

BTW your Sour Cream doen't look like its stretching near as much as mine did... Different pheno maybe?
Anywho, they look great!

Thanks, that's what I'm doing but with twine. I'm not sure why the sc isn't stretching that much. It only vegged to 6" before switched to 12/12. but it's 17" so it's getting close to 3x the size. Probably my fault for not letting it get a bit taller.

It's already growing straight back up. I didn't think it would happen so fast. I'm curious to see how much it will grow in height while the lights are off.

Ah, you only vegged to 6"! Thats why its not as big! I took that sucker up to 12" before flowering, wasn't thinking a head! lol :dunce:

I would measure it to see how much it grows overnight, so you can guesstimate you're LST. Mine were hitting 2-3" growth over a 24hr period during the stretch.

btw you're Bubble looks exactly like mine (did)

Great grow so far.

My Bubbles are only 7 days into 12/12 and are showing pistils and the main stems are stretching and getting about an inch per day. They are going nuts. I started to see pistils after only 4-5 days in 12/12 and thought that was fast. I guess they were really ready. I'm using FF's Open Sesame soulubale every other watering, maybe it had a hand in it?

Do you have your next grow lined up yet? I have five more bubbles vegging under Flouros and I'm trying to clone their tops.

I use all 3 of the FF nutes. BB is essential, as it is used early on to help establish great roots. You can probably skip GB if you use a hot soil. I've barely used mine. My new plants are being raised on worm castings and boy can you see the difference. Luscious growth and a great shade of green. I also use FF BB in my foliar feeds and when I flush. It's about impossible to burn with it. In fact, I'll be replacing that bottle first I'm sure.

No, I haven't got my next grow lined up yet. After this one finishes I'm going to wait a little bit to start another. By then I will have enough money to be able to get everything I need at one time. Going to make a bigger box for the next grow too.

Something's wrong with the bubble. The bottom leaves are all turning yellow and falling off, but the top leaves are fine. I was thinking the bottom isn't getting enough light.
