ya each of mine got about a 1/2g prior so i think that might have been it, it's also been a good 4-5 degrees colder than it was in veg at all times.

ive always liked the mystery of bagseeds. sometimes its very killer stuff... sometimes it sucks and hermies too. i happened to grow a couple bageeds this past summer from some good green "regs" or "corns" from around flint michigan. they produced one male one female and i had to get rid of everything i had at that time... long story i even had two mk ultra clones too. but i took a couple branches off the female bagseed plant from the lower parts before i gave it away. i put those stems outside in a couple spots (no clone gel or powder) in dirt. they turned into beautiful clones of that plant. they had bright fuschia pink hairs all summer and fall long. both plants. and they smelled very bad!! very!! turned into some excellent earthy tasting heavy indica smoke!!! very medical! i also have a batch of bagseeds from some expensive chronic shit and they are feminized or something! ive grown 15+ seeds of it and they all have been female!! its also a very crystally strain only surpassed by my nirvana chrystal, and nirvana white castle... dont get me wrong either ive grown a ton of big name strains too... bagseeds rock tho! my close buddy who grows gets purple plants from his bagseeds all the time. they always taste sooo good too i dont know how he does it. good luck bro!:weed:!

i had to make a foam cover for my intake fan.... and reduced the size of the hole to about 3"... that has raised the cab 5 degrees (now 75-76f) ..... much happier with that and seems to be stable

@smellz: ya the weed this seed came from was some sweet smelling dank... probably a hybrid. hard to say as its been almost a year since i smoked it haha. I got a few more bagseeds recently from some local bud, one of them was from some purp. ^_^. Got something to try next time around although if i get a single male this time around ill probably just get some fem seeds... ill pay 50-100 to have that guarantee.

@troutie: granted it wasnt as cold out last night as it was the past week or so, switching my exhaust fans at night the temps were right at 77 when i opened this morning (right after lights turned out) as opposed to low 70s. This should keep it all within a 10 degree range

First rounds of nutes tonight!

So i just fed the babies their first round of nutes. I used 1 tsp tiger bloom, 1.5 tsp big bloom for 1 gallon of water. Each pot got 3 pints, probably gonna give them 1 more pint each right before they go to sleep (i wanted to wait until closer to the dark cycle but I needed to water them LAST night so i figured i'd give them some asap... fucking work getting in the way haha).

And while I did that I started inspecting for sex... I might be wrong and obviously I'm going to continue checking but I think i have 2 females and a male. Help me out here guys.

Pics (the necessary parts are circled - it's much more obvious if you enlarge the pics):

Plant A - Possible Female

Plant B - Possible Female (by far the most clear so far... as much as a noob as i am to this, im gonna say this is a definite fem)
s5.jpgs6.jpg

Plant C - Possible Male

Help is greatly appreciated (rep will be coming your way :D)

Okay that's more or less what I thought. I was iffy as to whether or not those were stipules or pistils. Only about 5 days into 12/12 so I'm not stressin.

edit: its hard to see in the first two pics but it splits off into two hair like structures... it was so small the camera could pick it up. Not trying to justify it, just helping you out if you didn't notice that.

alright well see if you can set a macro setting on your camera so you can get close up pictures of the sex spots, makes it easier to tell, i think i got my first pistils around day 10 or so. you will know for sure soon enough :D gl man

I'll mess around with it to see if I have a macro function. Its a pretty new camera phone with an 8 mp camera. Time to scour the manual.

Yea I use my phone for everything myself. 8mp macro. And I agree with legalize on the stipules . I never had any of my four plants show for a week. The last one took two weeks. (On 12 12)

Thanks for the heads up guys. Ya i don't think I have a macro function but I did read a thread about how to change a few settings to for better close up pics. I'll keep on looking for some more obvious signs of sex. Think I'm gonna remove the scrogs today... i need to do some trimming of some dead leaves. Pics will be up after I clean everything up :D

So as I mentioned earlier, I decided to let these babies breath a little and remove the scrog. I think they're gonna like it quite a bit. I ended up removing quite a bit of dead/dying growth from the lower branches. Most of the healthy looking stuffed that got removed was by accident, i only purposely plucked maybe 3 leaves the rest had already fallen off or fell off while I was working. The plants are definitely LOVING the nutes; can't wait to see how they respond to a full strength dose.

Pics before removing the scrog:

Also, I've been noticing some leaf tips turning slightly yellow/orange/red. It's occurring on the lower/older leaf sets. From a few charts I read it seems to be a P and/or K deficiency which I'm hoping will be fixed with new nutes. I'll be keeping an eye out. Let me know what you think...

And as you can see, the LST will definitely help these babies fill out even more. I managed to uncover a lil mini patch of budsites ^_^.

And finally, after looking some more today while working I think my plants have yet to show preflowers... whatever i thought i saw yesterday appears to have just been stipules. Will monitor this and the leaf tips...

And a lil surprise: for those of you who remember when one of my plants grew into an LST tie... well here is how it recovered-

Enjoy!

niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! .... hey i have a couple of tiny yellow tips on some older growth (really tiny nute burn i think??) but my growth around my new budsites is bright green/yellow the same as yours, although mine are nowhere near as sexy as your plants :-)... is this perfectly normal? (week 1 flower myself)
