Looking very nice .. I definitely see that the 6” squares are too big for just 1 plant like I got. Seems like you’ve done pretty well though. Looking forward to seeing your progress
16.2 ozSo big day today..
Anyone want to guess the weight?
What size are the pots you have these in?2 days ago i chopped a 5th girl (on the right - one of the smallest) only the 2 on the left are still under the light for another 2 weeks I think.. View attachment 4140719
I can testify that I definitively don't like trimming lol but thats all part of the game.. cant wait to smoke the white widow
He transplanted twice during the grow. At day 43 he transplanted them to 5 gallon smart pots. I think he before that it was 1 or 2 gallon. What size are the pots you have these in?
Thats correct, 2 gallons then 5 gallons. I didnt check the roots on the chopped girl yet and ill try to take a picture but my guess is given my veg time slighty bigger pot could have been better I feel like the roots are taken most of the place in the pot.. ive been watering almost everyday for the last month and a half or so a bigger pot and maybe a bit more perlite would have hold a bit more water at a timeHe transplanted twice during the grow. Looking forward to seeing final results on all the girls. Congrats, job well done!
I was just talking about that in my grow linked below. I have 7 gallon smart containers, and they seems to be able to hold 1.25 gallons of water before they start draining. And at 3 weeks flower they are wanting more every 2 to 3 days, mostly 2. I water slowly though. With the smart pots, they dry out quicker because air gets through the fabric. I've seen some growers water the drip trays too, so the plants can suck up from the bottom.Thats correct, 2 gallons then 5 gallons. Sounds about right I had a 5 gal pot for watering 7 girls giving between .5-1gal per girl.. i didnt have a tray so never let much excess water.. i had small cooking aluminium pan under the pot so there is some air at the bottom of the pot too.. ive notices some roots getting through the bottom so I assume they were drinking in that pan although ive notice most of the time its pretty dry ill try to take a pic of that.. smart pot seems the way to go.. dry faster but I cant wait to check the roots im sure the pruning was pretty amazingI was just talking about that in my grow linked below. Thx ! I didnt provide any update in some time.. 5th girls hit 1.5oz dry so im sitting at 13oz with 2 girls left in the tent chop is schedule for saturday morning im leaning to a final weight of 17-20oz which will bring me at a good 1g/w for a first grow with "fake alibaba light" thats pretty decent I think.. but will know more in 7-10 days after the last ones dry.. i can defintively confirm the smoke is great from the WW very satisfied with the final product in both taste and effect..bravo mate! I've just got some of these boards for my 4x4, hopefully I can produce some similar results!
