lookin good !, keep postin on your progress !
i decided not to do led for my first set up, im doin 400 watt hps/mh
BUT i am gonna play with CFLs cuz i have a hood and tank i can use

You should consider lining up your plants in a row and getting a track for the light. they make one that will move back and forth so you can get that ufo closer to the plants for better results

u guys the ufo projects its light straight down out of the damn thing...its not like a hood that spreads the light for u...so i have to put it higher so that the plants on the sides get the right amount of light..if it was lower the biggest pot on the right of the closet wouldnt get light and most others would have to bend to try and get in it..but keep posting! thanks

hey dude, did you read my post ??
if you put the light on a track and line your plants up in a row
the light will move back and forth over the top of them all automaticlly
this would let you lower the light within 5 inches of the plant (where it shouild be) maybe even 1 inch away

yeah i read that but i dont have enough room in the closet for that set up most likely and i wouldnt be able to have as many plants as i would like..im about to add four more clones from a local dispensary..i wanna know whether adding a 400 w hps to the ufo for flowering would be good or not?

the problem is not that he didnt bring the UFO close enough, as you can easily tell by the pics- The plants stretched to get out of the dark buckets cuz they were like shit we dont wanna grow leaves in here. Next time fill it up more bra!

the light shoots down not out! maybe next time ill start with smaller pots and get all the sprouts in the middle of the light and keep it low but the way the pots are spread out i cant put it as low as you all think

You'd still be better off with a 70watt hps than a UFO light and still wouldn't have to worry about the heat.

la9 u have no experience with the ufo so u dont know whether a 70w hps would out do it.. y dont u stop baggin on the ufo and just help with advice on how to improve the set up not take away from it
