and why, if as you state, it was "200 billion then 800 billion now much more than a trillion", why is obamacare costing 20% less than projected?

Absolutely, completely normal to turn away someone who is requesting or needs medication.

Except what happens?

They end up coming back later in worse condition since they didn't get their meds, then taxpayers pay for the patients treatments anyways since they go on through the ER and then are admitted.

Scenario: a patient claiming to be a diabetic presents and claims he needs insulin or he will be out in two-three days. He is turned away.

The patient presents five days later, he is in hyperglycemic shock. The cost of the ambulance, the ER admission, the nursing tower admission, every day he spends there. Every sponge and dressing, if the patient cannot pay the taxpayer or hospital pay.

Why not give him enough medicine to Avoid that issue if he is unable to afford the medication? It seems quite silly to NOT give this patient medication, but hospitals do it frequently.

Ultimately universal healthcare saves money for a nation like the US that requires Emergency Departments to treat patients 100%.

I honestly believe that Obama knew this as well. That`s why his first attempt at healthcare not only worked, but was in the best interest of our country. Would have made him a hero of sorts and it was deserved. Then he sold out the population`s chances at finally conquering the health care issue to lobbyists that insisted that big insurance companies will no doubt fold and he must make changes to include the big insurances too.

He sold us out to lobbyists with an agenda and I`ll never forgive him for that.

He had it right the first time.

Most healthcare jobs require you treat injured people, doctors take an oath. Nurses first job is to be patient advocates, I would lose my job f I refused to render aid, EVER. When I had my EMT-Paramedic through NREMT I was legally required to render aid to anyone I saw or I could lose my EMT-P.

See where I am going with this?

May as well put the money into the pot in a visible way instead of stiffing hospitals until they close.

I wish we would incorporate more eastern medicine in our western world. I took a acupressure class from a Korean doc for ceus that was eyeopening. It's a very holistic approach instead of our pill pushing ways. He was talking about one of his classes final was 32 different feces samples and they had to diagnose the disease in each. His words will never leave me, "the poo poo tells you everything". We don't think like that.

Preventative medicine the basis for 90% of the practice in Asia, here it's about 10%.
