New lies have to be thought up to cover old lies.
I like minnesmokers approach - tell the truth using large flowery words.
Then when hanging around the water cooler, you won't have to grope for a story.

IMO, employers don't get mad about lies on an application if you prove yourself to be a good worker and exceed their expectations. If you suck at the job or are unreliable, they will use the lie as a reason to fire you.

yea man, definitely brush up on your reading and writing skills. white collar jobs require intelligence....well, at least the facade of such things..
