few questions about computer micro grow

First thing I want to say is Im doing it haha, I know lots of you will say its a waiste of time but this is something i just need to do for myself... dont ask.

anyways

I have 2 CFLS normal size and one larger one so ofcourse the main problem with micro grows would be the heat so im putting a see through substance right below the lights (like 1mm room imbetween) but glass isnt really an option since i cant find any the exact size i need, any suggestions?

also are those 3 cfls enough? for one plant :)

and one very important thing!

Im going to grow from seed from a little home made "aeroponics" thing i made from reading Zens tutorial and it works ive tested it on a clone of a plant but how would i go about doing something like that from seed? as its suppose to be clones only really?

yeh and theres a air line coming from the aeroponics through a very small light sealed hole in the light seperator to the air pump wich is right beside the 2 intake fans for nice cool air to keep the water tempatures good

so no suggestions on what to use for instead of glass for seperator there? (under the lights)

not sure but maybe plexiglass. im not sure how it will effect the light. and i dont think cfl's will burn it, may make it yellow after time. homedepot has it and you can cut it to size.
