Ferments with frozen material?

So just getting started with ferments. Gathering knowledge and material. Which brings me to my question, can i freeze the fresh material, i.e. strawberry tops, citrus peels, apple cores, fish scraps, etc., then thaw and use?

I would prefer using "waste" rather then buying just for this purpose, but do it if i must.

Your supposed to use plants from your yard, but it is winter now so that might be hard. I really want to start some indoor comfrey and plant some outside next spring.

Also, which ferment are you trying to make? Are you going to use the brown sugar method(FPJ) or LABS(Roberto's Brew/Flower Power)?

A bokashi bucket is also a ferment. I rented a bokashi book from the library and it has more benefits than regular compost such as it is faster, has enzymes, and has more N compared to regular compost.

I started with making my own Grokashi and I was about to use it tonight after my coffee kicks in. It was super easy to make and gathering the materials was the hardest part. I'll take some pics as I do my topdressing. I have leaf mold, barley seed, homemade grokashi(10gal), and FPJ made from a roma tomato plant.

I'm just fucking excited that I finally got my medical card after 8yrs of hiding under a rock!!! I will probably post a lot more and go farther into detail than I have in the past. I was scared to post too many pics before.

I too will be starting an indoor fruit veggie herb and flower garden soon. I will be trying labs and brown sugar style. I more so thinking before i throw all the starwberry tops into compost or worms i could freeze and make a ffj or flowerpower later. I really just havent seen any info on freezing stuff first.
I am trying to reuse my waste the best possible way. I freeze some fruit/veggie scrapes for my worms, i have about quart of pumpkin, quart of strawberry and a cup of orange peels(for pest control recipes)

I figure the nutrients are still there when frozen but the hormones, auxins, or whatever else idk.
Also thought about using the water i boil veggies in for the water in recipes as it will have some water soluable nutes in it. (Whatever we.dont use for rice or stock)
Did print out Dr. Cho's natural farming book. Want to get JADAM but need to finish teaming with fungi first, still need to read teaming with nutrients to finish Jeffs trio.
