Feminized seeds?

That's just it, I don't get males with feminized seeds. That's the whole point afterall.
Same here. 10 grows with feminized seeds; no males, no hermies, no seeds.

I'll ask again.

Question: What are some of the best ways to stress a female plant to make her hermie without too much damage?

That's a good question. I don't think it would be "heat", but I have no idea how much heat one would need to apply to actually stress. I had a problem with my thermometer for my last grow. Turns out I spent most of my grow at around 90 degrees before I realized there was a problem with the gauge. None of my plants hermied, though yield was affected. Damn resilient strain, that Master Kush.

When mine fucked up *lol* it was due to heat, lack of water, and a psychotic timer . However, I do not recommend that! Try the lack of water and excess heat..forget the timer..

BTW..Just checked my latest order from Attitude..it's on it's way..Far out..They just received it on friday!! Those folks are pisser.

Thanks for the info on stressing.

Believe me though, my girls have been stressed many times unintentionally from heat, power failures, drowned, etc., but never ended up with any hermies. Must take a lot of stress.

Yeah both of the Silver Haze grown from the same Feminized pack received the exact same lighting, nutrients, water, everything. one just came out with a few seeds on an occasional bud, not ALL buds. So that's where my question came from. I'm just going to continue to use the seeds I've already bought. But the seeds produced by the one plant may end up somewhere in the Rocky Mountains this spring :)

Here's a link I found on how to create Fem Seeds:

Thanks again for all the input!

Hey Knally,

Once spring hits, I'm gonna find a nice creative spot to plant a couple outside, my buddy is taking several to the Mountains, and another should be using them in Hydro in a few months.

So I'll definitely get back to you, cause I'm as equally interested, but it may be this summer or so when we get good results back.

No problem, ThiCbuds. I'll be around. Very interested in the outcome. In the mean time I might try to engineer few seeds of my own.

Good luck. I'll be watching.

Ive been growing some feminzed Chocolope seeds from DNA genetics as well. Im really excited as this was our favorite strain on our last trip to Amsterdam. Im 2 1/2 weeks into flowering, so Ive been scared about getting fems too. I have had some probs with the light leaks coming from my veg box, and once with the light cycle. Ill let u guys know how it turns out.
