Feminized Pure Power Plant with CFL's

Great looking grow, holmes. I'm also doing fem PPP...same co.

Awesome to see your ladies doing so swell... I may have to get me one of them fancy swirly lites!

I got 3 of the ppp's down 9.22, so they're 21 days today...a little smallish compared to yours at the same age, I'm sad to say.

I'm doing a buncha FL strips, 2000 lumens ea. 6 strips = 12k lumens...but the lights are 2-3 inches away, and spread out over a 4'x2' area, so most plants are only getting 1-2 lites, max. I may raise them 2-8 inches and up my reflective environment...cause that mylar(?) looks like it's making the light all bouncy in your veg chamber...sexy!

Side note: my plants all did the same funky leaf thing in the early days... weird, innit? Does anyone know if that's kinda unique to this strain?

I hope you don't mind me attaching a couple pix in your thread... just for visual comparisons, and whatnot... this is two of the main lady. the other two plants are equal to one another, and a bit smaller than this one.

Thanks for stopping by your PPP Is looking great to. What are you going to be flowering with? As far as lights in flowering with a 150 Watt Hps and supplimenting with four 42 Watt 2700 K CFL's on the sides and bottom. Im hoping to get at least half a pound from these girls.

Well i just FIM'd both of them and i plan on LST'ing them before i put them in 12/12 so i am still gunna aim for half a p.

half a pound is lot of weed best of luck

i'm not the kinda guy to put people down, but from my experience;

a 70w hps's max yeild on 1 plant is around 1oz. maybe 1.5 if you wanted to spend a bit extra $.
..so 150 over 2 plants with some cfl supplementation.. i'd say aim for 4oz max, that is if you put real blood sweat and tears into these girls.

but don't take it from me man, anythings possible. get some other opinions.. peace out

I might get the 250 W hps with the son agro bulb I could definately have a better shot at getting it than the 150.

or 400 watter.....

yea man, seeing as you have some experience with flouresents as well, i'd say look into using t5's.

ive seen 4oz yeilded with 4 x 24watt - 2 foot t5's, and they are cheap as anything..

your 8oz target may be attainable

I already have two 24W 2 foot Hydrofarm T5's. There in my veg chamber but im gunna add two more to the flower chamber.

it's been kep real small, but in the past week-ish the baby buds are starting to fill out. ( only had; just under 3 weeks of veg, and it's just started the 3rd week of flowering, only started showing pistils about 1 and a 1/2 weeks into 12/12)

i have a 600w hps to flower. I'm hoping to catch and pass you on the back stretch...

it will be cool to see the difference in growth, first hand. if only i'da seen your soil/nutes, I coulda matched you and we'da had something approching a real experiment!

I've been thinking about a 4't5 or two to mount on the walls in the flower room; we'll see how the money holds up. Like I said about your mylar, I think it's a good call - I can see how two of my other plants (diff strain) are growing better, closer to the alum foil I faked up for them...again, the bux.

i've been compliling pix for the grow thread, but now I have to get the camera cord back from my mom.

I'll shoot you a link once I get there.

Yeah well see about that lol. As you can see here i already put the girls into the flower chamber and i added a 2 foot T5. Once i throw the hps in with all those CFL's and T5 things are gunna be banging...



You can see the light from the T5 on the bottom

i was looking at t5's and those are the options..
what type do you have?

Mine are High Output.
