Feminised / Regular

I bought some seeds recently and they are growing fine, only to realise that I bought regular instead of feminised. How can I tell which ones are male or female ? They are about 3 weeks into growth from seedlings.

Every strain has a different timeline on when it wants to show you its sex traits . Google the difference on what to look for . If you see ball sacks or bananas guess what . It's male . Veg out to desired height and then change to flower . Week 2-4 in flowering usually day 15-25 you'll know their sex it'll show. There are other ways of determining sex early but as a noob I suggest you train, top, and practice on all your plants early on in your new venture . Then you'll be moving on to better strains, better techniques . Keep active journals and evaluate constructive criticism closely . Lots of good people here however we have ignorant ones as well . How does one buy regular by accident?

Go on youtube and watch Jorge Cervantes as well as seemorebuds mate. If you have no idea what male and Female are you need more research before growing.
What nutes are you using? Please dotn say miracle grow.

Also males have balls (little pollen socs)
Females have white hairs.
Flower mate is when you see them or a very long vge peroid.

PS veg starts at about 2 weeks from popping out of the ground and thats when you need to feed 1/4 strength nutes.

Non femmed cannabis does not choose sex until just before the onset of sexually maturity- approx 5-7 weeks of veg for most strains. Keeping temps around 70-75 and keeping them healthy & stress free plants will go a long way in increasing your female to male ratio. Usually it's a crap shoot at about a 50/50 mix but optimum conditions could tilt this to 60/40 in favor of fems or better. Total darkness during 12/12 helps- light leaks can cause more males or ladyboys.
There are ways to find out what's wut by sexing the plants but it requires the lights to be flipped 12/12 when plants are sexually mature or a single branch covered up by a sleeve of black construction paper for 12 hrs a day which is a pain in the ass because it's too easy to forget. Another option is to reveg- just flip to 12/12 after week 6 of veg -plants show sex & then you kill the boys & flip back to 18/6 for a few more weeks or until they are big enough for your space to yield max. The easiest way is to just be patient & wait til they are 2/3 the size you want to finish at & flip- then kill the boys or separate one in a separate area to harvest the pollen for targeted seeding later on. One thing about reg seed is that once they are sexed hermies won't occur as much unless conditions are less than desirable.

Check for the pre flowers they usualley appear at the knodes of the plant where the branch meets the stock usualley they show in late veg you might need a scope to get a good close up look at them if it's a female it will have white hairs if it is a male it will have pollen sacs they look exactly like human balls LMFAO

By the time their banana pods they are putting out pollen.......Balls is before they pop open and put out pollen....

I never really realized that I can pick'em out without sexing with no effort. You do it so long and you'll see them too...

Taller and not branching much, if at all = most likely male......I haven't been wrong in years....You'll get there.
