How far away from harvest are they

I arrived back in France and the 2 plants I had left in the house were fine. Leaves withered up and buds dry, green and sticky. No sign of brown rot. Bringing the 2 pots inside out of the dampness stopped the rot spreading. Had a smoke last night everything fine. Me being an absent gardener means I don't get high yields as dry spells stop the growth. Things will be better next summer I have now got a water drip feed thing, rechargeable with a usb lead and can last 2 months, can water up to 8 plants, you set the timer, maybe a minute every night could be enough. Will experiment with it. Take water from a container not from a hose.
