ever found a racist you didn't want to befriend?
I can "befriend" anyone on here I want, because none of you are my real friends. Hard concept, I know.

Ever notice how I constantly tell BnB about his non-sense talk which does nothing to help the situation? All I do is interact, others make their actions. You're not very good at this game called life.

i'm gonna take a look back and see if canna ever made a peep when the white supremacist wave came last year or if, like usual, he just befriended them.

My flaw, one of many, is intense curiosity?
Buck, I know the pictures content. Let's not discuss.
Question: why?
(Please don't say why not? or I will lose sleep that I desperately need. lol)
That is a freak out video. Supposedly the kids mom canceled his world of war craft subscription or something.

Thank you BnB.
Now i get it. Buck is giving oddball the gears. I though it was an obscure reference to manus and was confused.
I'm currently reading washington post opeds on Ukraine crisis. Pretty interesting and concerning.

Although off topic, I don't see how the Ukrainian deal don't lead to a war. Who all will be involved, I don't know. If we're lucky it will just be a civil war.

The reading I've been doing is helping me to grasp what a complex mess this situation is. Brutal. I'm hoping reason prevails and a fair settlement is implemented. I'd hate to see another civil war. This will probably take a fair amount of time to resolve.

I've not looked in depth to the conflict.

What do you see as its underlying causes and possible peaceful resolutions?

Seems the west is catholic and europe-oriented and the east is orthodox and more akin to Russia. It's complicated and these are gross generalizations.
I do wonder if the west uses a latin alphabet like the poles whereas the east uses cyrillic. Not sure.

I do know that a guy i went to school with was a western ukrainian. He said there are linguistic differences in Ukrainian: the further west it's closer to polish and the further east to russian. idk, seems a mess.

I know putin is, in essence, revisionist. He wants a Greater Russia and all that.

They're going to have to do a deal. Ukraine may end up being a buffer state that won't join NATO to keep Russia happy; in return, putin calls off his dogs and agrees to play nice. ukraine will want to enter the eu.
I'm wondering if ukraine has gas and oil that threatens russia as europe's biggest energy supplier. Putin has got away with a lot by having his hand on the gas lever of europe.

Well, while I'm sure you just offered a summation of your readings, the situation appears to be as I thought.

Russia needs access to the black sea through Crimea because it is their only warm water deep port capable of hosting large naval warships.

Naturally they need an overland rout there.

I think they might let Ukraine do as it will, but only if it lets go of its eastern half.

Agree on the naval situation.
Splitting the country may not be necessary. The country could have semi/fully autonomous parts. The east is not a slam dunk part of Russia by any means. Most of us know so little of ukraine I worry the Russians will hoodwink us by blurring some lines.lol
Not funny really. Time will tell.

My money is still on a fairly significant war.

Not that I wish for one, but I don't see ukraine letting the "rebels" run amok for to long.

Then I think russia might step in to "rescue the ethnic russian population."

I especially like the way youve assigned some sort of authority to your opinion.
