how much does an ID cost in your state?
here, it is $56 for one that lasts 8 years. $26.50 for a replacement. if you need an ID to vote, and an ID costs money to obtain, that is an effective poll tax.

I'm convinced you just like to argue. I have my license # memorized too. It's a good thing I got that license in the first place right? Oh you have a passport huh? You don't need an ID to acquire one of those? Poor people have IDs too, how you think they apply for welfare and other government services? You need an ID to apply for a job, so if you got no job, you better go get an ID. If you lost your ID man up and purchase a new one, it's not the republican's fault or an unusual request to be able to identify yourself. You know who doesn't have IDs? If ID requirements place undue burden on legitimate voters, if that burden is not equally weighted, if requiring ID solves no immediate or demonstrateable existant problem, then the laws are unreasonable. Simply because you have Id and it places no particular burden on you, does not mean that it does not do so on other classes of people.
