I am about 5-6 weeks into flower on a sativa strain called quest. The fan leaves shooting out from bud sites are actually beginning to flower and shoot out pistils in the center of the leaf. Has anyone seen this before? It's a first for me, unless I have just never noticed previously.

Thanks everyone, I highly recommend this strain. It's been a tolerant strain to grow and is projected to end up at 27%-30% THC which is bangin for a sativa. I honestly didn't believe it, until that frost started coming in and it still hasn't slowed down at all. I've also been able to keep it at about 22" tall with my scrog. It's a Cali strain from source cannabis that I have never tried, or even seen. I was lucky enough to come across some clones locally (on the east coast). It has an amazing lemoney, piney, diesel smell to it. I'll definitely post some more pics in a few weeks once I see how the weird mutation matures.

I wouldn't say fucked up genetics. I've had it happen once on a plant that I've grown numerous times. Only ever happened that one time on one leaf. I made a thread about it when it happened.

I heard that will only happen on seed grown plants, like even if you cloned that very plant, the clones won't do it. I could be wrong but I believe VaderOG said that.
