Failing in cloing will try this hope it works!!

Hey great post on your link you posted. Well done! You said you used only tap water? Did you adjust the ph or just left it. You said the water temp was around 80-85, Do you remeber what the room temp was? or does it matter.

I think mine got mushy and died was because the stem was in the water.

I am interested in your technique because you also cloned Master Kush and had success. It took 21 days but still worked.

I was thinking making one myself, but I just want one that works:) I might just order the “Botanicare Clone Machine and give it a shot.

ps. you did buy a areoponic machine didnt you ? how did that turn out .

umm....? That's not my guide. I just happened across it and decided to build it. I didn't even read the whole thread, I just copied his design from page 1.

Personally I just fill it up to the sprayers and turn it on. It probably gets up to 80*, or whatever room temp is.

I use a cheap powder rooting hormone and I get great results. Someone said it earlier. The key is the constant water on the leaves. I didnt have a mister or a dome and they come out. Its also in the way that you cut it I believe. I read on here that you make a second cut in a water solution (water and some of the rooting hormone) so that there is no air bubble. cut at a 45 degree angle. Also no direct light until you see new growth. and really between 7-14 days its growing again. There was a point when I thought that I had lost them. But they stayed green so I just left it alone, keeping it moist. and they are flowering now.

Yeah i read that somewhere also. I think they just stuck it under water and did the process there. I think maybe leaving the cutting in water and b1 for 1 day then putting it in to rockwool will be fine also. I will try that.

i was one of the worst cloners ever when i first started trying to clone. then i came up with an idea that works for me. using oliva's cloning gel. i take smaller cutting than most. i seee guys use some big ass stems me i go just above the 3rd node.quick dip and the gel and place in the rockwool cubes. i cover them with a hummity dome. but the trick i use now is i will a cfl and put it as close to the doom i can with out it touching. it wont melt if it does touch it by the way. and thats it. the cfl gives off enough heat to the hummity levels very high. and i mist everyother day. if you mist to often i find the plant spends a lot long rooting. if you dont feed it it will produce roots. every once in a while i when i am mixing nutes i will save some and water it way down and use some on the cubes not the leafs. give this a try and let me know how you make out

can anyone explain to me why you would want to cut your leafs when cloning and the theroy behind it? i would think you would want to keep the leafs healthy as you could so it can feed in the hummity. dont we want leafs on our clones?

i put the rockwool straight into bubbleponicsand cover with hydoton pellets with just air stones and mist leaves everytime lights out

are you talking about putting rockwool in net pots ? if so did you use a mister or let the bubbles pop on them .
