FAIL collection 2020.

I welcome everyone to post this season's newbie fails, just post a picture and what happened and we will collectively dust you off and lend a supportive ear. Unless you're the guy who pisses on his plants - checkout the thread somewhere under "Runtz" if you've not read that one, it's hilarious!

Here's my first to kick it off...


Sudden high winds pulled my very healthy Green Gelato apart, below is the before taken a day before.

What did I learn?: support the damn plant, was thinking of reducing weight. So, the lesson here is "go with your instincts"

This is Taz the Spaz, she was a Bluetooth auto, and never really grew.



She lives happily next to my apple and Oaks in a little bonsai pot.

What did I learn?: There is always a price with the free seeds you get with orders.

The "Optical Illusion". Had a little space which has great light but terrible wind! So I let this West Coast OG auto just run and see how she handled it. So she grew diagonally, kind of like natures way of training.



What did I learn?: hmmm, WCOG don't have a wind problem? Actually, I learned not to top autos as they hate you for a while and give you the silent treatment. And you can let your girls lead the way in extreme conditions.

no photo, but the wind just destryed my remedy plant 2 nights ago, saved the top as a cutting, hope it takes. it would have been worse news ghad it not been or the fact my mum let me use the spare space to house my precious ladies, first time in 30 yrs and shes now accepted them as part of me. sucsess I LOVE MY MUM, Bless her shes 80yrs old

Sounds like a pretty happy ending there dude. Good job. I did a similar thing and tried to save some cuts and see if they take too.

The "houdini". I read somewhere that it was good to soak seeds for 24hours in seaweed extract.


......guess not!

What did I learn?: Don't be silly with seaweed.

The "Family Affair". Upon discovering Taz chilling out next to her apple tree, my 3 year old daughter decided to give this plant some "love". Not entirely sure how the medium turned green!?



What did I learn?: Alice doesn't like green bits.

I’m still relatively new to growing. This being my 5th harvest I’m growing now. Up to date, I’ve had pretty descent results. Until this last harvest. The one I’m not so proud of.
This was a blue dream bag seed grow. I had grown this same strain before from the same bag seeds. It turned out pretty good. 4oz of dense nugz from 1 plant. I think what caused the problem was I shut the exhaust fan off for whatever dumb ass reason and forgot. Within the next couple days of me not being home and my wife asking if the temp was ok to be over 100 and the fan was off, I knew right then I had fucked up. It was like a gut punch. Here’s the results. 4 plants yielding 7 1/2 oz. Any input on what to do with this. Cooking, oil, hash, trash???
