There is a little reason to my madness though. I want to make sure that I have enough of a selection to get me through while my next set of clones are flowering
Thinking down the line.I'm actually hoping the Big Bud is gonna be a fem (regular seed), as that's the one with the super massive buds (a skunk cross too!). I'll be so happy to see that one fem up. I want some clones to make some fem seeds from it. If it's not though, I do have one more Big Bud reg seed to try again for a fem.
The Fruit Punch is the fruity tasty one that I want to savour... and the Cheese... well... on the site they say it's good for insomnia so
that'll be great for me!I'm hoping to come out with clones of everything in a month or two, minus the bagseed of course lol. But saying that, when my mate grew the bag seed the smoke was actually really nice. So could really be worth doing another batch at a later date. But if I've got Big Bud seeds... pmsl probably no chance!
I reckon I'll have space for one more in there too!
I will consider this carefully though before I actually plant anything as I've kind of got my hands full right now.

Yeah I hear ya bud. However, I'd prefer to have femmed seeds as I can't be arsed to go through that sexing palarva again just yet. and I have the other reg seed to try out another time. So if we get a male from this one, HE'LL GET THE CHOP!eitherway the big bud would be usable ...... but not as usable as 3-4oz of dense chunks
I hope it heard that...
Apparently, this strain needs to be supported after 4th week of flower due to the bud size! I'm dying to see it!

Cucumber how are you powering your fans now(pc fans with some kind of phone charger). It's just that speed controller is 240v. Now the way that will work will be the same as a light switch dimmer so that to the dimm the lights. it pulses electricity to the light blub, so that it dimms the light (hard to explain when your stoned, hope it makes sense). It's just I don't think a phone charger( being a mini transformer in itself) will be able to take it. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong, just don't want a fellow grower and a nice chap like yourself, and many other growers on this site coming home one day to be greeted by mr fireman Sam, and have to explain what's in ya shed.
I'm really liking the second cab, can't wait to see some plants in there.

Okay, my current fan system is being run from an AC inverter (same as a charger but a little more powerful) and is running three PC fans, with ample mA's to spare for another internal PC fan should I need one in the new cab. I shall be sourcing a variable resistor for this circuit very soon as the three of them are running a tad too fast and I need to turn them down.
The fan speed controller eBay jobby I showed you I intend for my new venting system, not yet implemented. I have a 4" inline proper jobby fan which will connect to ducting (and output through my carbon filter) and provide my new flowering cab's exhaust and ultimately drawing air through the channels and through another duct out from the veg cab. Yes it's 240v
Now that's proper circulation! I also hope it's going to provide much needed heat from the veg cab during lights off.Thanks for the concern bud

i got this after my tent setup arrived from charlies and the reflector was bent (the reflector i'm re-using in my ghetto cab
)... so i rang em up to order the smart controller and had a moan ... they knocked 20 notes off the price ..... was well happy with that as i'd already got an aircooled hood to replace the reflector

I plugged it in to test it out and it actually worked just fine for a few seconds... then POOOF!!! my shed was full of nasty foul smelling smoke
I was kinda relying on that fan for my heat distribution, so I'm a little bit pissed. But the show must go on!
I'm now banging my head against the sketch book, hoping some ideas will fall out lol
I have another small PC fan which I've attempted to try in its place but it's not really cutting any mustard. Just offering a slight breeze rather than the hurricane I was looking for.
I wonder if an old hoover motor could work... hmmm... *cogs are turning*

On the lines of a hoover... I have a leaf blower in the shed that I've never used... hmmm.
If I can't get a hold of a hoover I may have to chop the blower up! lol

holy shit a vaccuum would be a great idea... i have never even thought of that... wow... seriously man i would pull it apart and rewire it. let me know how the process is, im going to try the same thing i think. my flower cab is staying like 86 with the carbon scrubber on it because it restricts some air flow.. with it off it stays like 82, and I need it under 81,but also want my buds to purple up a little bit, so 75 is what I need. Vacuum sounds like a really good exhaust fan... wow. I cant believe ive never thought of it..

I am very curious about the leaf blower idea though. It should be lots more powerful than a crappy second hand hoover.
I just can't be arsed to pull my shed to pieces looking for it - I know it's right at the back under the bikes and lawn mowers and stuff

hahahaha. Im at my gf's parents house away from the babies for a few days, sad, but can't wait to see the difference in growth when i get back tomorrow!!! and my diesel ryder is getting chopped this coming up week!!! I cannot wait to smoke that little christmas tree!
