He doesn’t care that shelves will be bare or with less choices. He wants to infuse his “ slush “ fund with money that would normally be in American spending - its his control of the money . Money that was to fund programs that Americans rely on now retracted so he can control every dollar. Not for efficiency… but to grab it for his own use. Even his crypto “ deals “ … all benefiting himself.

Where do think all of that funding from DOGE shuttered agencies will go ?

GREED - plain and simple.

Fleece as much cash as he can …. Money that would have been “ spent “ …. now it stays under his control.

A 13-year-old plane, likely loaded with spying equipment would need to be stripped and de-bugged, loaded with the usual defenses (like chaff), loaded with secure communications, full hospital and other things that would take years to do and cost more than the $400 million. This is a bribe by the HAMAS-supporting ruler of Qatar. How does Izrale feel about that? (rhetorical)
