Examples of Democratic Party leadership

It's worth worrying about.

As former Senator Russ Feingold said:

“If you think this is democracy’s moment of truth, this is one of those things,”

I'd rather vote for who I want instead of tactically during next year's primary. But not going to risk our democracy over it.

He's not my first choice but I don't think my #1, Elizabeth Warren, can win the primary, much less the general election. I'll go with Biden in the primary if he runs next year. When I look at the crop of ninnyhammers vying to replace Trump as the head of MAGA GOP, I don't see leadership. I'd rather vote for the guy who maneuvered Republicans into swearing they will protect Medicare and SS and pretty much ended their taking the US economy hostage over the debt ceiling. All done in one speech.
Do not underestimate him- he's sly like fox. He played a short game of BIDEN SAYS and won. YOU loved and are still raving it. He possesses something few still have- big history that straddles the before and after.

Nobody worth their salt will primary him should he choose to run 2024 and I hope he does because he'll have nothing left to lose and can really cleanup with a new Democratic Congress 2024. Back to work to complete the cycle for his legacy.

Want to give a shout out to Jimmy Carter, heard the sad news yest. afternoon that he's entered home hospice care surrounded by family, didn't like Jimmy when I was a ignorant young 12 yo. But his decency as a man won me over in my adult yrs.,what a kind, decent man he is ,arguably had more impact post presidency w/his habitat for humanity foundation along w/his wife Roslyn. Always willing to jump on a plane and help out as a diplomat or to provide relief when needed. This man in addition to being president was also Georgia gov., served on a submarine as a nuclear engineer, and held a Judo blk. belt.In our fragmented, hostile political sphere the likes of such a civilized, caring man will likely never be seen again.

i don't think he was the best president, but he may have been the best person to be president in our lifetimes...i guess Obama would be next, and he did some unsavory shit while in office...

He was a 1 term Pres.,bad inflation, looking back I think he was TOO nice for the job,Probably the most decent human being produced by Georgia, hard to believe he and Margory Greene Taylor are from the same state, talk about regression. He definately had the most impact post presidency of any presidents IMO.

Worst president we have ever had until Biden came along. Why do you think Reagan looks so good and is so revered within the GOP? Carter was a brilliant man who did a lot of great things for this country and never slowed down trying to make an impact for good. What's Obama done since he left? He bought a house on the beach in Hawaii so he can watch the ocean rise with our global warming problem we have. It's probably got to be hard for Jimmy when he has moments of clarity to have to just sit there and look out the window. The man never slowed down.

carter was a little too nice for the job, but worst? not even close, both bushs were fucking horrible, and reagan was even worse. they were popular at the time, but their policies are what are fucking us so badly now...

Who played a short game of BIDEN SAYS? What did he win? What did I love?

The only person I mentioned was Russ Feingold in context of my post was the Republican effort to overturn our Constitution. So, I need some more background about who I should not underestimate.

This is how Bernie makes himself a target of ridicule. Ageism now! As if that were even in tier 1 of our cultural problems. Maybe his being 81 has something to do with it.

It's her way of getting rid of Trump, how would Donald do on such a test?

Gotta say once the oldies but goodies are gone I'll have serious reservations about the new gen. politicians of Nikki Haley's ilk as all links to the age of crossing the aisle will be gone, add in the trust factor and their brand over all else mentality and I find it difficult to embrace optimism. So many of these under 60 pols (esp.on the Rep. side) seem completely ignorant of history and lack decorum completely all the while whore themselves out on social media pumping out any kind of BS misinformation hoping to go viral while actually doing their job in governance is secondary at best

Biden. YOU is 'dear reader' even though it applied to you per se. I do that in my writing sorry. Biden has a well known speech impediment. He's 80, but none of that has stopped him from this.

Quite the fuck you to Putin, as Biden walks right up to the line and says 'lets see what you got mother fucker'.

say what you want about him, he makes a lot of valid points, and I agree with him 100% about America being run by oligarchs. Call a criminally manipulative power broker what he is...
Saw the complete interview and ordered his new book..say what you want about him? He just entered Hospice Care in his Plains Georgia home at 98. #mostmisunderstoodpoliticians
