hmmm..ok scratch that then....whats a good potent strain to look at from gps,,? ... that yields well ... have you tried tombstone or tomahawk?

I grew this maybe 4-5 years ago. It comes feminized and regular. I bought the feminized, it hermied like crazy. Like double crazy. But the smoke was top notch, even from seeded bud. They may (or may not) have gotten the handle on the hermies, you'd have to research that. Or grow the regular, and forget that issue all together. GREAT indica-leaning smoke, tasty, stinky, solid cola's, great weight..........get the idea?

Has anyone here run Sour OG Cheese by Ethos? I just popped it and am thinking of running it indoors and out. My Inzane hermied and actually has fully forming seeds on the lowest nodes meanwhile the buds are just getting going on top at 5 weeks flower, pretty crazy. Hope all their strains are not like this, I don't usually run stuff that is prone to herms like this. I wonder if the Sour OG Cheese is? They list flower morphology at 40%. Is that like 4 in 10 is a herm? That's nuts.
No, it's not 40% hermie. I believe it means differences in plants (pheno's), and that number is on the lower end so things could be relatively the same in the room. Regarding the strain, I haven't heard anything about it but I'm sure others have.
I've heard of some slight hermies in their Inzane, but nothing full blown. But it's quite common in many of Ethos's strains. I found just a few seeds in the Zsweet Inzanity, but no more than a couple. Again, in most of the Ethos strains that do hermie- you'll find the nanners between weeks 3-4 along the main stem very low on the plants where the hormones tend to be highest. Then, late in flowering, you have to be observant just about everywhere cause it's common then too.

I'm sure Sour was grown by someone on the Ethos seeds thread here on riu. Last year sometimesometime.
Some comments tonight, week 4 flowering is now completed. 6 weeks to go, and maybe a few extra days per someone else who grew it already........ smell has really come on this last week. Not as bad as last crop (LOL) but it's thru the house already. It's not a kushy smell, a bit lighter but you know it right away. Still fertilizing 40% veg, 60% bloom for another few days. Then I'll go to a 1-4-5 for a couple weeks and then nothing the last two. Apex is not a Cal/Mag whore, I'm on the lower end and haven't seen any tacoing or deficiencies.
Other than just a few plants, everything has stayed a nice and manageable height. They are using up a lot of H2O right now, I'm watering every other day maintaining around a 900-950 ppm at 6.2-6.3 pH. No need to flush, thing look great. It's been a very easy grow, not one issue or problem. Just watering, not much else except a bit of cleaning occasionally.
I will raise the lights another foot tomorrow, just to insure no browning or burning of leaves. No need to push them at this point, they'll really start taking off these next few weeks.
I got my seeds for next time on Monday as expected.........they Fed Ex'd them overnight. A nice touch. I was only able to find 3 packs of what I wanted, and they sent along some nice freebies too. Who, you may ask? Hella Dank Seed Company. Found them listed on the Ethos site. They're a keeper. Got some nice freebies too, 3 different strains.
Some pic's up of the room tomorrow at first light. Also, down to the very last of the Chem OG. It's very popular- I had one guy stop by 6X already to re-up. I'm only doing edibles these days, and truly miss smoking that one. Apex will be the next thing I smoke, a ways off.

Have you OP or anyone else grown Citridelic Sunset from Ethos? Wondering if it is prone to some herm flowers, I have a pack I want to run.

I have not. This will be my first run with Ethos gear. They are doing a hell of a job promoting their beans, because I took one look at their website and ended up buying 3 packs without having run anything from them. Im kind of a seed junkie though. Then SeedsHereNow gave me a free pack as well. So I also have Citral Glue and Lilac Diesel rbx1 too.

Have you seen any lab results for it? I was interested in what terpene profile Apex might have but there are no lab analysis for it online. Lilac diesel looks tasty with big 3 myrcene limonene and caryophyllene.

This bums me out...
Anything with Gorilla Glue in it will normally put out some hermies........smoke was still great though. I had a room of 24 plants so it was difficult to go thru and find the male pods. If you are only growing a couple of plants, you can easily manage it. Y paying close attention.
Regarding Apex- I have not seen another grow of it other than the DB guy over at THCFarmer, who is a tester for Ethos and puts up finished pics of all his stuff. He hasn’t smoked his yet, while they are waiting to turn everything into rosin. So, no lab results yet either, yet it sure smells tasty with hints of Berry, lemon, orange with an appealing candied sweetness to them all.
