Not talking about the EU just talking about Ireland. AND if its so good. Please move there
Sorry dude, im a real patriot and intend to stay here and change things for the better. Your wet dreams of us with some common sense moving to some other locale has been dashed to bits i know. Do try and get over it.

Ireland's debt could be totally wiped away with a weeks worth of US spending.

And again
irelands debt comes to half a million a person
ours comes to approximatly 50k
And Of course in your Bizzarro world you think you make sense

Again that's the total external debt, not the national debt...or are you the same idiot who thought public debt meant all debt in the country?

Our national debt per capita is roughly the same at about 50k per person, except our deficit is just 11.7 billion per year. We're shaving 3.6 billion off that this year alone. How are we "McFucked" as you so eloquently put it? Again I say, we'll have our budget balanced by 2015, so no more borrowing necessary for us.

Same Metric is used for the USA
Shows Our per capita debt as 50 k a person
SHows yours as 500k

So you can spin it anyway you want
Your debt per person is bigger whether you measure it as per capita or as a percentage of GDP

That's external debt, it's a useless indicator. National debt as a % of GDP and deficit as a % of GDP is good too.

Maybe try looking up what they mean?
Really
