Day 19 Update

What the fucks been up with RIU today???

Anyways good news, cos some pistils growing and at day 19 that seems pretty quick but they definately are, there growing in pairs. The pic is a bit blurry but hopefully you can make them out.

Growth has been immense in 5 days since i last uploaded some pics so I decided to start with the BioBizz Nutes at 1/4 strength to start with....

I'm going to start LSTing her (feels so good to call it a her now) on sunday so check back soon.

Hey dude, looking good. I wish I started LST mine as I think gonna be huge :/
I know what you mean about RIU today I only just been able to get on and on top of that my laptop keeps restarting itself.

I just think it was down for maintenanc or something...

I dont think its too late for you to LST, Cloudnine did it at about 4 weeks i think.... just do it after you've watered to make sure its a bit more supple....

Shit tonne of growth and pre flower hairs growing out of loads of the nodes...

I want to LST but im a bit worried as shes really short and don't quite know how im gonna do it.... considering the stumpiness of her? shall I wait a bit, i dunno im putting it out to the RIU ccommunity to shout some suggestions to me...

O yeah this weekend I have the girlfriend over and as u know my mum now no longer concerned about what I'm growing and she was the only one in the dark. Well I was taking a piss and she went to grab one of m jumpers. Next thing I knew, these don't look like cabbages.... I couldn't lie she is my age and not an idiot when comes to this sort of thing. So I was honest and said I done it for the sake of it and she just laughed ff and she said just get rid of them. I said Kk in 4 weeks when there ready lol

hmmm...

Ive decided to LST today, done it by cutting up a coathanger and pinning my girl close to the soil... come to a bit of a problem though, i think i didnt put enough soil in so its kinda a bit too low underneath the rim of the pot and therefor squished up against it, theres enough light on her so she should be fine, but its just something to think about that perhaps i would put more thought into if i were to start again...

Just thought i'd share with you guys.... Ill post a couple pics up in a few days to show the progress....

Yeah I did, thanks for putting my name out. My only suggestion is to start at the very top with the last inch of the top and go crazy and bend it over as much as you can each day without breaking it. You will then see the lower branches fighting for the light, then you can ties those down too.

Hey buddy it looks good just remember to tie them back every day. I am resubscribing to this thread, somehow I missed a lot. Also check out my grow journal I have a Lowryder #2 well into flower.

First of all, nice grow. Good job at keeping it all stealthy, I wish you could have used your 400W HPS. Probably for the best, but with LST I bet you could keep them very low.

I think maybe you should poke some holes in the side of your pots and use a soft string, I use a waxy string that I got a roll of for real cheap at a local hardware store. Something like a dollar for a couple yards...

Just navigate the string around your girls nodes and soft parts and tie her to the pot and circle around.

If you're better with pictures just navigate to my latest post in my thread and my last few pictures are of Fuddles (the plant I'm LSTing right now) and how she's tied down.

Though do know that I am not saying the way I described is best or what not, but if you're looking for other ideas you can try that one out.

Also! When germing seeds, try using the paper towel method, I've had great success with it.

Fold and wet a paper towel
Stick seeds between folds of paper towel
Put it between two things that won't let light get in but also won't absorb the moisture
Then place that somewhere warm
Check daily if you wish, when you see some roots sprout out put that in dirt tap root down with a light layer of dirt over it. Turn on a light 18/6,20/4,22/2,24/0 what ever, just keep them warm and give them energy and they should break ground.

Hey mate, looking good. I tryed bending one of Alice lower branches (small one) just a tad to get a bit more light and it snapped :/ o well. It may re join or may just come off eithier way its no big deal. also I don't know if I mentioned it. (im tired sorry) Im looking to get at Asda (i know funny place) 30w CFL's for £1. Cant be bad.

Yea so far my LST has been working pretty well, the Bud sites are comin up through the canopy, i just watered my girl so im hoping the next few days shell start going mental with the new positioning....

Yeah man fucking bargain. Im going to get 4. It doesn't have the kelvin rating on then just the lumens but I presume there normal daylight ones. Eithier way for that price be great supplemental lighting. Im just posting picture update take a look

Update Day 26

Right a couple days ago I wasnt happy with my little plants room to grow, so ive now transplanted her into, well, the same sized pot but with more soil in and better placed the girl with room to move about and so i can LST her better

Shes showing signs of N deficiency a little bit, so ive just upped the Nute Dosage to 1/2 strength to see how she copes,

Although i'm away all weekend im hoping she'll be fine as im not back til monday she has a good 3 inches to manouvre til shes hitting the light and im leaving the fan on her for the whole time just incase she does get too close...

All should be well...
