Errr take a pic of the box. I would say just move it somewhere like a shed or something when you know there coming and just switch it off and back on when there gone. Won't cause them too much stress as there auto's

Looking good TwoJoints! I see that you transplanted back into the same pot, but with more soil. Were the roots visible when you took it out? Any type of root ball? What size pot are you using?

I used a 3 gallon pot last season and feel I wasted a bunch of my good soil. I downsized this season. I can't imagine these getting rootbound in the scant 70 days (give or take) they take to reach maturity.

Cheers.

I'm doing an outdoor grow with autoflowering plants and I will only use 2 gallon pots for mine. I agree that they won't get rootbound.

I'm not sure how big the pots are but, i would haward a guess at roughly 2 gallons give or take, when i did transplant my girl from the pot previous she was hitting the sides with her roots, but it wen't all knotted at the bottom if thats what you mean?? pretty sure it will be enough room, and anyway i dont want her to grow too massive... an with the budites growing at the moment, i think its going to give me enough to enjoy for a little while at least!!

Peace guys...

Yeah you will be fine, on my small indoor lowryder i used a 1 gallon pot and she was just fine. There wasn't too many roots on the bottom. I hope you get allot of buds man.

Cool, thanks for the input. My pots might be a bit smaller than one gallon. I still think that's fine for a plant that will be chopped 70 days from now, and might make it to 16 inches tall. I've got the 3 gallon pots to use, but I'd like to see if these small ones will work. Have you ever seen the plants some folks grow in party cups? Pretty decent sizes. In any event, the input helps.

Yeah those will def work, the smallest I've used were 1 ltr pots and they worked fine. I had small plants, but what do you expect.

yes, desertrat is right. Remember, you will have to make sure you get a fan inside and adjust the humidity.

If you're still bent on going ahead with it - get about 2-3 of those bulbs, it will be more or less ok. It's a shame that you can't use the hps lamp... The result would be so much better than with cfls.

Are you sure you can't make the space bigger? Making it higher is the priority, as for width.. Well a few inches will definitely help. I hope you can manage; it's always nice to see people succeed in growing!

When i first started out a few months ago (my first grow), i was going to do it in a wardrobe but decided to do it in my bathroom shower instead - how right i was! (it's the shower we don't use). It's pretty much a ghetto set up but quite good for a first time (if i may say so) - take a look for yourself.

My girls are 3 months old, going to veg them at the end of the month. My lamp is only a 250w hps, also got a simple fan and a humidifier. With a little imagination, one can acheive great things!

Anyway, for the sake of it, i must admit your grow is fucking stealthy! Haha
pity it's not the right size.. But nevermind, you'll figure out something, eh mate?

Keep us posted,
