Never heard they eat roots just decomposing leaf matter, easy safe way is just fill up some shallow tins like empty tuna tins or anything like that and fill with vegetable oil it will attract them and they will drown in itHow do you get earwigs out of the bottom of the pots? When I transplanted one a bunch came out the bottom. I was reading that they eat dead plant materials but on another thread someone said they eat the roots. Maybe some Sevin on the ground under the pots?

Thanks...I think I'll try all of the above, neem oil, DE and canola oil. I read where they like beer, too, I have an unopened 4 year old beer....lol.
OK, so it is 1 tsp Neem to a gallon of my well water for each plant. Once a week til harvest? I'll water and feed in between and the day I use the Neem would you water first then Neem? I do remember from my fish aquariums that I needed a face mask when working w/DE. I quit using mg when the guy at my dispensary told me weed grown in mg gives off a chemical harmful to our lungs....of course, he may have been trying to sell me their growing products.... veg.
I am going to use it as a soil drench, only. All of my plants are excelling beyond my expectations only I noticed a bunch of those creepy crawlies when I transplanted P. Urkel and they scurried out of the water holes..eek
